Well, I can't say I'm surprised you have no ideas. You have the chance to define what your definition of climate change is and what needs to be done to try and slow it down. Feel free to come back if you can think of anything to add.

How often are JSO protesting in the countries that produce the majority of the carbon emissions?

Dont recall seeing any suggestions to combat climate change from the JSO mob.

I've not said that JSO's actions are the correct ones but they do keep the topic alive. Mostly, Governments don't want to give it more than lip service as it will cost money to take effective action. Given that short-termism is the bane of all elected Governments none of them want to adopt an expensive, probably unpopular approach during their short period in power. Big business, especially Big Oil, will do almost anything to prolong the gravy train and unless these attitudes can be changed we, and more likely our children and their children, are totally fekt.

How we make Governments change their attitude, and move from weasel words to concrete actions is problematic but we sure as hell need people to continually raise the visibility of the issue by protest and any other means.

I really hope you’re right and I, and most of the Scientists in the World are wrong. I really do. However, that does seem rather unlikely. Neither of us will be around when and if the sh*t hits the fan so you’re probably safe in continuing your baseless criticism of anyone who takes affirmative action to try and change the outcome. Unfortunately for George, purple hair dye wasn't an option in his quest to impress and woo the object of his desires - Lucia.

But, not one to be easily defeated, he instead opted for a fetching keffiyeh whilst espousing some guff about her foraging on the forest floor for mushrooms like a deranged acid fiend. Time will tell (possibly up to four years) until he'll find out if it's worked, and she finally shags him.

In case you're wondering, Lucia is the one on the left of this photo. And, to be fair to George, she's probably the pick of the bunch.
