Any new manager can only work with the tools his given . If you look at our central midfield for example, without Clay we have next to nothing there. Apart from Khan , what can a new manger do with the sh*t players Kenny signed during January.Stan1972 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 5:56 pm New manager needs to be in the building ASAP
Hopefully Fergie will accept and be in the stands for Tue and in the dugout for next Sat!
Squad needs a lift and we can hopefully get a New manager bounce and score and pick up a draw or a win, just need to stop the run of defeats and score again.
If we lose our next home game it will be a club record 6 home defeats on the bounce.

Over many Years we've had many relegation battles, but this time worries me a lot more, because, whatever manager comes in, the players are the same, and they aint good enough.
I just cant see what anyone can do, to get improvement.
The players we signed in January, were disastrous, although Ling was responsible for Coleman, he himself said, he's been after him for 2 years, way before KJ was manager
Our luck has been bad, and we need it to chamge quickly, its the only way we're staying up
They were on a year rolling contract. So we owe them a year's pay. At a guess £300,000 (200 KJ & 100 JG)Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 6:31 pmFair enough, but we'd still have needed to compensate him at the end of the season if we wanted to get rid.
Silly comment. Relegation isnt a certainty. There's still 15 games to go, thats 45 points to play for. Its not looking good atm, but its not a certainty
We haven’t got good enough players . You only need to look at our powder puff central midfield to see that. Transfer window was totally wasted.
Qin, that wasn't a silly comment, I'm being realistic.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 28, 2022 9:57 amWe haven’t got good enough players . You only need to look at our powder puff central midfield to see that. Transfer window was totally wasted.
Jobi was on a playing contract that was due to run out at the end of last season anyway, hence him being a sensible low-risk punt in that situation. If it went wrong, the Club could just wave bye-bye.Ronnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 7:45 pmHow many compensation packages is Ling still paying off at the moment? Is it just Jackett, Gallen, Jobi and Embleton?Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 6:31 pmFair enough, but we'd still have needed to compensate him at the end of the season if we wanted to get rid.
