That's what they said on the podcast, though the £80k is likely to be conditional rather than a guaranteed fee (i.e. some sort of fee payable over time plus add ons based on appearances etc).
Article I've just read said Forest Green and Lincoln were interested in him last summer before he chose Kings Lynn, which seems a little strange.
The club have previously stated that we would only be looking at players with League 1 experience or above.
No issue with us identifying and acquiring talent from non league per se if we're getting the right players.
Sounds promising. And also potentially a shift towards using stats when identifying targetstuffers#1 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 9:44 amOn the fans forum they talked about a player whose stats were off the scale & should be looked at ,Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 9:24 amWhere did they state that?PoundhillO wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 9:09 am

I'm assuming we've looked & liked what we saw .
Those examples are from a time when there were fewer subs (therefore opportunities) and scouting wasn't as good as it is now. Not withstanding that, they stand out though because they turned out to be top level players. How many players sink back down to that level in comparison? Far far fewer, but you don't notice those as they don't stand out.Anthem of Hope wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 9:39 amOver the decades I remember easily the following players that were signed from non league clubs that were very good to exceptionalGive it to Jabo wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 9:26 am To my mind, a good player equals a good player; one can get too hung up on which League a player is worthy of....
Cyril Regis - WBA originally Hayes
Alan Devonshire WHU from Southall
Paul Furlong from Enfield

They are in the National league, only one below us, there were stats on our players when we were in that league.Ronnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 10:36 amYou think there are stats on players at Kings Lynn’s level?Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 9:59 amSounds promising. Yep, for sure. Might not be as detailed in the NL but there will be some.Ronnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 10:36 amYou think there are stats on players at Kings Lynn’s level?Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 9:59 amSounds promising. That seals it then - he's definitely about to sign.
