That will send the value of those players through the roof.

At this stage it'll have to do, irrespective of when the season ends, because of the societal benefits. The same way as we'd still want the unvaccinated general public to get their jabs even though full effect won't be for a few months.Story of O wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 10:29 am But they won't be fully jabbed and boosted until end of season
It won’t do in terms of bringing people here in January. Those players are liable to miss games throughout the rest of this season because of the additional isolation requirements on the unvaccinated.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 10:44 amAt this stage it'll have to do, irrespective of when the season ends, because of the societal benefits. Theo, Mitchell and Beckles
Not sure this checks out as even if you follow "THE science" it doesn't change transmission or catching it very much, aye?Ronnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 10:01 amIf they’re not vaccinated at all now, we’re potentially f*cked for the rest of the season.Story of O wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 9:56 amAs it seems that only 3 jabs has a chance of stopping infection with Omicron, players not jabbed won't be protected until well into the New YearRonnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 9:31 am
Or they could just stop being thickos and get vaccinated?
I’m surprised the club, via our medical team, have t had this discussion with them.
As harsh as it sounds, it is practical to only consider vaccinated players in January.
It might well do but they won’t be of much value if we can’t get a game against the less well off opposition! Total fuckup regardless. Rather than dragging on about the issue of COVID passes, the Government should have been emphasising the consequences of not being vaccinated ie. 10 day self isolation! Or perhaps the FA/EFL/Clubs should have been more rigorously on the case. The irony of 50,000 covid pass fans in a stadium and players self isolating because they’re not vaccinated. Shambles!Story of O wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 10:12 am That will send the value of those players through the roof.
Has that been confirmed or is that just guesswork?
Yes. By the managerRonnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 5:37 pmHas that been confirmed or is that just guesswork?
Very good point, though I'm not convinced that anyone at the EFL would have been sharp enough to make itBiggsyMalone wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 4:25 pm After Nigel came out fighting in the media in the wake of the Spurs game last year, the club’s hands are tied. What’s to say they haven’t had this chat with them? They don’t have to just accept the medical teams decision.Ronnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 9:31 amOr they could just stop being thickos and get vaccinated?Orient Punxx wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 1:20 am
KJ stated that the missing COVID players were not carrying the Virus. From this we can assume that these are unvaccinated players, that are subject to “pingdemic” for the rest of the season

So you’re saying these three have got covid?Horient wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 7:03 pmGood point.idontkn0 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 4:10 pmNot sure this checks out as even if you follow "THE science" it doesn't change transmission or catching it very much, aye?Ronnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 10:01 am

Correct. There is now a rule to do more testing on players. Players with no symptoms weren't previously being tested, now they are due to an increased testing on players. It doesn’t mean they haven’t been vaccinated.
What three? I’ve not made a comment about today’s players who couldn’t play in the game.Ronnie Hotdogs wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 7:12 pmSo you’re saying these three have got covid?
I thought it had already been established they haven’t?
Come on SF you're better than that, "everything" is being over dramatic and you know as much. Appointing KJ and Gallen, the work of Danny Macklin, our streaming platform that's 3 off top of my head just for starters that disprove that point.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Sun Dec 19, 2021 8:10 amIn which case we'd have likely faced action for not fulfilling the fixture. Then because you slate everything the club does you'd be going after them because of that.
