People hold the responsibility to educate themselves. They've made the choice to read the Mail and The Sun. They've made the choice to buy into all the anti-immigration bollocks. All the anti-Islam bollocks. When you argue with facts that disprove everything they believe, it falls on deaf ears. They don't want to be educated.CreamofSumYungGai wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 3:58 pmI don't think you can blame the people. We're kept uneducated and fed lies on a daily basis, so it's totally understandable that you would think Corbyn is a terrorist sympathiser/anti-semite/threat to the economy etc etc when you're having that information drip fed into your brain and are a bit of a thicky.BiggsyMalone wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 3:43 pmIt sums this country up that people would choose to vote for all of that plus what else you said because he isn’t Corbyn. The British are pathetic.Token wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 3:29 pm Don’t forget the getting sacked from 2 jobs for lying, the £350 million bus lie, the numerous mistresses, the going to court to stop the press telling about his numerous love children, the being responsible for a British citizen actually having her sentence increased in a foreign country, the misogyny, the homophobia, the racism, and of course the fact that his flagship policy as PM is to give a £6000 a year tax cut to everyone who earns over £80000 a year (himself) at a cost of £9.5 billion a year...
Never mind demonstrations. When he brings that policy in ,after 9 years of austerity, there’ll be riots.
Meanwhile, Boris makes gaffes and has a funny haircut and does good bantz.
So you want to have a vote on something, what if the vote doesn't go the way you want, demand another vote until you win, now where have I heard something like that before.Lucky7 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 3:17 pm I would be the first to admit I know very little and more to the point care about politics however how can this Boris fella who admits to doing coke said Muslim women look like post boxes wasted so much cash on vanity projects whilst mayor and god knows what else be even considered as the next PM of this country?
Can’t we the people vote/demonstrate about this so it doesn’t happen it actually worries me the fact he could be in charge

I don't think it made a jot of difference what he said or didn't. It is the Iranian government that has locked her up, not Boris.Red_Army wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 4:03 pmWhat an insult to the woman locked up in Iran because of him. How do you figure that? As I recall, basic rate income tax was 30% when I started working in 1979. It's 20% now. Corporation tax is way lower now than even 10 years ago.Still's Carenae wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 10:30 pmStill waiting for austerity. We now have the largest tax rates since 1969. So the money is going in and we are still have a budget deficit.
