Front page story on Mail on Sunday Front Page:- " Camilla Set To Step Up"..................Jesus wept. & Tuffers believes The Queen will abdicate. Time for us all to get on our knees & pray. One of the few phrases in the Present Subjunctive in English " God Save The Queen.

Re: The Queen watch
Particularly one that presided over one of the worst COVID responses in the world, leading to one of the highest per capita death rates, whilst lining the pockets of friends / family with ludicrous contracts for tasks they had no ability to perform. That is before we even look at Brexit which I will concede is not as provably disastrous yet, though I believe history will eventually condemn it as the last tantrum of a deposed superpower.
Please inform me which ‘achievements’ the current ruling party should be complemented for over the last 11 years…

Charming! I'm sure. You post so much, you forget what you have posted! I refer you to your link in an earlier posting to The Sun ( always a dubious source ) - saying that The Queen will someday abdicate. You only have to listen to her utterances to know that day, is NEVER.

Difficult to say really, personally I think she wouldn't, however, that thought was from at least 5 years ago, Prince Philip dying is a game-changertuffers#1 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 31, 2021 11:33 am Is the SUN about to actually get something right ?

Nowt wrong with Brexit, I don't know if you were around before we joined the Common Market if you were you would understand why the population rejected the EU. It was a deliberate Con from the start.LeighO wrote: ↑Sun Oct 31, 2021 4:41 pmParticularly one that presided over one of the worst COVID responses in the world, leading to one of the highest per capita death rates, whilst lining the pockets of friends / family with ludicrous contracts for tasks they had no ability to perform. Well the Tory party beat the labour party in the last four elections for a start. I remember Jeremy in the Winter of Discontent, what a frightening man with truly appalling ideas for the country, a man who supported anything against the country and Establishment

She's gotten very lazy recently. I think a few months on statutory sick pay will help her buck up her ideas.

Re: The Queen watch
Maybe after having had to perform the ridiculous "State opening of parliament" in August 2019 after Johnson had lost parliamentary majority ( because he expelled all the Tory MPs who wouldn't dance to his extreme tune) she had an inkling that 'her government' was just making a mockery of her role?Max B Gold wrote: ↑Mon Nov 01, 2021 8:48 pmShe's gotten very lazy recently. Maybe she decided that she wasn't going to be made a fool again by Johnson, especially not on this mega global forum as is COP26 ?
Or maybe she just decided that she has had enough and can't be arsed.
And who could blame her?

Re: The Queen watch
I hope you are right. I think though that she really misses Her Rock, Prince Phillip, the only man she has ever known, and as the years went by his presence gave her strength as he guarded her back. Not the perfect person, no one is, Her Ladys in waiting gradually dropped by the wayside, he was the only one she could talk to and trust.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Mon Nov 01, 2021 8:48 pmShe's gotten very lazy recently. Re: The Queen watch
You would've seen and heard Jeremy in all his glory. He has never said a good word for the country, tirelessly worked to undermine the Establishment, Supported the picketing of hospitals to stop blood supplies from being delivered, supported the IRA and other terrorist organizations.
I think he holds the record of voting against his own party line more than any other MP. I was involved in that dispute especially the blood supply saga

None of the above could be further from the truth!
But I won't bother looking for and linking more authorative sources.

Totally incongruous that Jezza has sneaked his way into a thread about HM Queen Brenda ( some Boarders have no self-discipline ). Thought she looked pretty fit in her video yesterday evening. I hope I look as good in twenty years time.

Re: The Queen watch
He later went on to say.
"You're my best mate so you are, the best mate in the world. We're the same you and me we understand each other which is why we will always be mates. We go back a long way me and you.
Here let me top up your glass and we can toast you being my best mate, so you are. It's me and you against the world. Everybody is against us. It's you and me against the world mate. Nobody understands us. God I love you mate, hic!!."
He then vomited under the table, ruffled his already ruffled hair, charged his glass and carried on as usual.
