I would t rename the West Stand, I’d rename Oliver Rd and change it to Justin Edinburgh Way.

Think about it, he was always based on that side, his office was on that side, his dugout, everything was there. Rather than rename the stand which can be changed or added to by a sponsor let’s get the Rd changed as that’s never going to be at the mercy of sponsors or changes.

We need an experienced head to manage a very difficult situation. In-house is a sentimental approach, nobody in house has the experience we need at this time. Maybe different if we were established in L2 but we are not. Nonsense to suggest a outsider would find the situation impossible. Someone like Slade I’m sure would be wise enough to cope. He would be my choice.

But I feel Ross as assistant will get the gig, heavily supported by Ling and with input from the senior players.

I’ve found them to be pretty incompetent to be honest however, the club seem or appear to have a good relationship with them. I was at the LOFT meeting at the town hall and they spoke very highly of the club, of helping it, and working with them. The leader was an Orient fan as well I seem to recall.

Yeah nice idea, but it probably depends on the relationship between the club and the council.
It would be nice if Justin’s name could feature somewhere in the borough as the club do a lot of good in the local area.
Maybe a charm offensive from Kent ;)

Changing the name of a road has major knock on effects for so many people, potentially difficult ones. A non starter.

Don’t think this is the new shirt.
It’s gonna be “New Balance “ brand isn’t it ??
Nige’ Is wearing a Nike one.
Anyway Good communication from the club, as usual , at this very difficult time.
Obviously talks are going on behind the scenes about JE’s replacement........not sure if we should try and go outside the club for a ‘name’ or not.
Nigel said they will probably keep things in-house . The club wants to keep the continuity going which I can understand .

Don’t forget the residents of Oliver Rd would also have to be consulted so I can’t see that happening May happen possibly on a future new build within Leyton

To be fair Lucky, I don't think that's bad idea from Thor . Actually, I quite like it . No harm in asking WF what they think.

Ross does not come across to me as having a strong enough personality to be the next manager, Danny Webb perhaps but agree with you, best bet of all would be a very experienced type of manager, but not a ''Sergeant Major type'' Yes someone like a Slade type would be ok. A.F.C Fylde manager David Challinor seems a good manager and a really decent and sincere man, but doubt that will happen.

So all these poor residents would have to change address for utility bills internet tv licence etc etc for one person dare I say the majority of them don’t even know who he is
At best I would think WFBC would be happy with a statue of JE either in Coronation Gardens or possibly outside the ground somewhere

They discussed it on Wednesday and will be making an announcement next Wednesday. Two weeks is long enough. Hopefully whoever Ling decides is made manager will be more Edinburgh than Davis.
