Definition of 'woke' is being aware of and actively attentive to important facts and issues
Quite incredible that certain media, politicians and other personalities deride this as ridiculous and worthless!
Why are they so keen to promote ignorance and opposition to a general social awareness and conscience?
FFS: why are we bothering with education, research, learning, knowledge - when all of this is now rubbished as 'woke'?

Most of the revered so called ‘comedians’ now spouting off and making issues made their rubbish careers upon the material they now supposedly despise. Unfunny Lenny Henry comes to mind when he stereotyped and elderly West Indian man and a female, unfunny Billy Connolly, (nite how his wife has distanced herself away from the embarrassment she caused). Connolly and his atrocious attempt at mocking Ken Bigley before he was beheaded. Awful stuff. Maybe Pamela Stephenson gave free ‘therapy’ to Mr Bigley’s family as recompense. These people have no shame. Look at that unfunny David Wailiams and Matt Lucas, now chief wokes, the former writing children’s books after portraying’urinating elderly women.
