Follow the process. Do the homework, see who comes out on top of all the key measures, conduct due diligence, take time to get it right. Appoint Fletcher.

Almost 100% of promoted teams over the last 20 years have been managed by men under 45 and in their first job.
Can’t imagine Jackett fancies a Tuesday night in Carlisle or Exeter.
If they appoint Jackett, it could be their most expensive mistake yet.
Should have appointed Jobi with Slade as mentor.
