Burgers are more commonplace on pub menus than Whelks
What has a pub menu got to do with a burger van or a shell fish van in a pub car park?
Daft Logic , pub menu's usually all have Fish & Chips , but I've never seen a
Fish & Chip van in a pub's car park , or a chicken wing van & so on & so on .
I have
All 3 in one car park ?

Fish and Chip vans are quite common in seaside towns
Can think of at least 3 in Dartmouth

Yes but not a burger van in a car park that has its own pub menu & its own kitchen .
Unless its the pubs own outdoor van . To let someone else do so , would be financial suicide
Back to why shell fish vans are popular . Everything is cooked off site .
Then it is easy to prepare , no cooking involved on site .

Yes correct, jellied eels and the like. great food when it is fresh and the vendors follow basic hygiene practices.
