The whole Prince William supporting Villa thing really is odd.
Does anyone know how it came about?
The Duke of Cambridge previously told BBC Sport he decided to support Aston Villa while at school because he wanted to be different to his friends who followed the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea.2 hours ago
As if supporting Villa is the main thing which would differentiate a prince of the realm to other kids.
Does it matter he’s a football fan and his team of choice is Villa get over it and yourself ffs

Yeah, the same person you’ve responded to nearly 10 times in the last 5 minutes.
There’s no need to be shy. I don’t bite.

In his defence, he’s been a villa fan for years. Not just a couple of hours.

The Prince thought Aston Villa was a smart pad used by the Royals in the midlands. Balmoral Castle, Holyrood House, Aston Villa. That sort of thing. He also thought Leyton Orient was a train station in Leyton where the Orient Express left on its journey.

I'd still like to know why he chose Villa though...

It's not the first time a member of the Royal Family has supported a football team - Henry VIII supported West Ham

Wonder if we’ll get some loan players from Villa courtesy of Mr Smith

You wouldn't want any of the terrys as your assistant though, would you. Nailed on he'll have replaced Deano before the end of this season.

Cannot understand the obsession with Dean Smith and anyone else who had an association with the Orient. He was a paid employee like thousands of others.
