A million pound leyton house will be getting sold to Italians for the equivalent of €200 at the new future exchange rates once sterling has been devalued.
Is this post Xenophobic? Why pick on Italians?
I picked Italians as i was goinf to say 50 Lira .
You know because a million lia would be like what a grand maybe ?
As id already written italian i couldnt be arse to go back & think of an even more worthless
Unit of currency .
So the joke is this, stirling currency will be worth sh*t & you should flog your spare house now if you havent already .

Tuffers it will never happen. There is a correction going on now, and with wages rising affordability of homes becomes a little easier. I say a little.

Only things I remember about Francis Rd are in this order from Leyton High Rd
The nick, fishing tackle shop and the clinic my old ma went to every week after she had TB
Just found this photo of the high rd and top of my old rd (Brewster) brings back some memories
Post office on the corner and Three Blackbirds down on the right, think there was a grocers, Attwoods? on the other corner to the P.O.

Am I right in saying that church is gone and the garage is there now ?
Correction for sure a chippy is still in Francis Rd but it’s not the original one Chris’s so called chippy is more of a burger/chicken place these days
