She was centre fold for Mayfair, I still have the staples
I am surprised you managed to prise the glued pages apart to retrieve them.
It was staples. That wasn’t glue on the page.
Bit Harry Monk over the years, especially if bought from the Interesting shop. They were bought , read, sold back to the shopkeeper ‘Dirty Dave ‘ next day , like an exhibit from Wycliffe.
It would never be allowed to be made today that’s for sure.
They still make sh*t shows, see that Mrs brown boys.
Well we agree on that! What a pile of rubbish that is! What annoys me is that for some reason that is permitted when so many others have been banned effectively. A man dressing up as a woman and swearing repeatedly is so old hat.
I liked On The Buses as it was risqué and grew up with it when bosoms on TV were a schoolboys dream. As it happens , they still are. Look at poor old Babs Windsor, had her topless picture in Carry on Camping in her Order of Service last week.

Olive (Anna Karen) was a stripper before she appeared on On the Buses.
I always thought it must be a mistake as she never looked like the kind of person you'd want to see without any clothes on. I think they deliberately made her look quite dumpy, and the glasses didn't help. Nor did being married to Arthur.

According to wiki, Anna Karen is still with us and living in Ilford. Anyone spotted her, and tried the old joke of congratulating her on being Jean Luc Godard’s nouvelle vague muse and lovely?
Reg Varney popped up as an answer to a recent zoom quiz I did, being the first Bloke in the world to use an ATM. He’ll be spinning in his grave now nobody hardly uses them in the contactless card covid age.

You wouldn’t get very far with contactless in the Supporters club.

Time for them to get with the times.
Now that will be a place to impossibly social distance and a rife place to catch the lurgy.

Reg Varney was an accomplished pianists as well, incidentally.
