Just so it’s contained in one place so we don’t have to read it in every other thread. Cheers.
We can do that if you do the same. You can have a group of like minded snowflakes where you talk about each other’s mental health, give out virtual hugs if someone calls you a name, wear different colours for whatever oppressed group you are standing with that day and generally behave like a bunch of wet lettuces. Who knows, if it really takes off you might meet the future Mrs Wumble. A humble Wumble.

I don't want to be nasty but Sid, Oiram, Thor, Dohnut and Perpetually Wrong need to reduce their word count drastically. It is boring as f***. A bit of my soul dies every time I see their posts.
Don’t waste your time reading them then!

Great idea. Mental health is so important to talk about don’t you think? We’ve come leaps and bounds when it comes to understanding how important it is. Come along way from when people thought men crying was a sign of weakness, but still some way to go I suspect.

Judging by a few war stories and certain cultural references, I have him in his early 50s. Similar age group to yourself.

This is my thinking and reason for asking.

He shouldn’t be in the oldies camp. Should he?

Life was so much more simple back in the day

Limewire
Risk of a virus every time you downloaded porn
Writing in text speak coz texts were 10p
Big Brother
"Teen babysitter anal" file downloaded... Nothing of the sort
England fans rioting abroad
Napster
Get off the phone I want to use the Internet
Windows 95 & 98
Rolf Harris still a ledge
Kazza (with built in trojan)
Newspapers hacking phones to find out who's shagging
MSN Messenger

Glory days

MSM Messenger could be a good cross party podcast where Darren Grimes, Emily Hewertson, Owen Jones, and Kerry Anne Mendoza discuss the lies in each media and donations could go towards, I guess, defunding the BBC? Not thought it through yet. They could then point you towards Breitbart and The Canary as the only trustworthy sources.

I actually got a job in one as a kid. That was an eye opener. It was a work of art seeing them cook the burgers with a paint scraper. They used real onions then. There were American Style Franchise Burger Bars cropping up also in 70’s. Hunger Cure was one. They use to put the raw burgers on a conveyor belt and it went GH tough s flame grill slowly whilst cook sorted the bun , sauces and salads. There was one near The Lion
And Key in the one way bit of High Road , think called ‘Starship’ run by English people who got the idea after a holiday in the States. Used to open late after pubs shut.

Had many a cow pat from the Starship after the pubs closed, big old burger in a floured bap.
Another faux Wimpey was the "Minuet" in a row of shops near Leyton Green bus garage.

Yes I remember that next to the old Midland Bank, an honest imitation Wimpy. Burgers were almost as good. Was full of Bus Drivers snd Conductors from the garage opposite. The Minuet is still there as a cafe but different name I think.

What if I substitute in Tom Harwood and Toff from All Those TV Shows and get Claire Fox (Baroness Fox!) to host? I'm sure we can get you on board. We can change its name to 'That Won't Win Back The Red Wall!'
