This is dire. We haven’t put two passes together all half.
Ling has adopted anew defensive tactic. Instead of standing 15-20 yards away from the left winger, he is now getting about 5 yards away but then maintains that gap as he retreats as his opponent advances. It’s actually worse than the old policy.

Was initially watching with the sound off and I thought it was a yellow for Happe. One of those 50/50 red yellow ones. Probably a tad harsh. Johnson is working hard and having a good game. The rest, meh.

Let's still be positive, according to BBC stats, we've had 2 shots on goal of which 1 was on target. There have been occasions where both stats have been nil at half-time.
