Peter Bennett. At the time I was thought that selling Tommy Taylor was a huge mistake but Bennett turned out to be a terrific replacement who gave great service to the club over many seasons.

Charlie Daniels. Wasn't great in his initial loan spell with us and was surprised when Ling got him back in permanently. Continued to be a weak link in the team until around the middle of the 09/10 season where he started to noticeably improve. Under Slade he developed into an unreal player and went on to play in the Premier League.

And a really nice bloke too.

Adam Chambers. Adam who? Just another signing I thought. I ended up thinking we let him go too soon

After the likes of Scowcroft who came to us for an easy last pay day I wondered what we'd be getting when I first heard Kevin Lisbie was training with us with a view to signing. What a revelation he turned out to be, definition of the model pro.

Ricky Otto, what a debut v Brentford (A)
Brentford won 4-3 (Holdsworth hatrick)
But Otto was unplayable on the left wing, he set up all 3 Orient goals with crosses.
I remember coming away from Griffin Park thinking what a player.
