Sean Batt, Leon Constantine, Carl Hoddle (RIP) and John Marquis. Had high hopes for them all but they didn’t deliver for the O’s.

Obviously there have been many shocking signings, but the one I was most disappointed in was gary Bellamy. He was immense whilst on loan, but once the contract had been signed it started to look that he had come down to our level.

When I saw him
The first time at a corporate dining event, totally ignoring fans , I knew he couldn’t give a fcuk about the club. Think that was the day of him goading fans like he was an Emporer.

Come on guys, Jamie Harnwell deserves a mention - diabolical

In 2003 Harnwell had a one-month contract with Leyton Orient in Football League Two, which was not extended

Liam Kelly, record signing with what seemed like proven quality for League 1. Really believed that simmer that Beelzebub had learned his lesson with the Italian veteran signings and trusted the manager to go out and pick players that would work in the English game.

Alas it all went to sh*t in a bucket after that and the eventual ball-boy banning summed up how it all went so wrong so quickly.

Agree on this. Thought he was abysmal, regardless of the circumstances with the clown.

Add to that Sam Parkin as the "striker we have been looking for" and Scowcroft who looked like he was permanently in quicksand.

David Corner joined from Sunderland much talked about centre half but was absolutely awful, also Paul Hague who if Sitton is to be believed cost him £60k of his own savings to sign for the Os from Gillingham. Had the pace of a sloth and turning circle of an oil tanker and those were probably his best assets.

I remember seeing Liam Kelly and David Weir in centre midfield at the the start of that season. Knew straight away we were gonna struggle.

We all remember things differently I guess, but I was gutted to see Kelly banned.

Worst I've seen, or at least the biggest let down from my expectations was...........Jamie Scowcroft

I know Jamie Cureton didn't score many, but.......Scowcroft ^.-
