Just like other players, right?
Why would a second division club in financial trouble bring in a young premier club player to sit on the bench just as Thomas is doing. Even though he has not played for WHU first team he wont be on peanuts although West Ham will be paying part of his wages.
Maybe not this Saturday but i would expect him to be starting from next game on.

Akinola has already played about 5 or 6 games this season for West Ham under 23's so he's already match fit .I'd give him his chance and play him Saturday.

Well, I wouldn't say we're in financial trouble. But it's pointless bringing in a third right back as we did with Thomas when we already have Judd and Ling. At least there's more of a need for Akinola. Who knows about what West Ham are paying though. I get the impression they have their own financial problems with lack of signings this summer while shipping out a high earner in Felipe Anderson and that other guy that got Mark Noble all upset.

Thomas was brought in because Judd isn't in contention.

Sorry, I went off on a tangent before finishing my point. It should have said pointless bringing in a third right back when we already have Judd and Ling if he's not going to play. Judd can't be that out of favour that he's not even considered cover for Samling, surely?

But he is cover for the cover. Well he was before Tunji joined and Widdowson did well at RB

So Judd in reality is cover for the cover for the cover for the cover for the cover at RB.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see us losing Happe before the ‘window’ closes.
