1hr 20mins, no sign of our DoF, and his name was only mentioned once, in passing.

Now its only a group, not a team?

Why aren't these able to play on Saturday and fulfill that league fixture?
Isolating. Some have to isolate for 10 days, others for 14.

As much as I like him as a person, am I the only one who thinks Kent doesn't really add much to any of these discussions? It's clear he's a fish out of water when it comes to anything football related; and that Nigel is the figurehead in charge for anything business related. I understand it's important to have the main benefactor there; but it's always the stock response to questions -

"What I learn every day is what Leyton Orient is all about"

That's a really interesting point. I do think he adds something, but what I did detect last night was a bit more distance between him and the others. He seemed less combative and more contrite - and we know he has recently reduced his shareholding.

Watched after the event, but overwhelming impression is I like Travis, he comes across as an open & honest guy trying to do the right thing, can’t fault Teague/ Embleton/ Macklin either.

Was a good session, the club is in good hands, and I’m darned grateful for that!

He hasn't reduced his shareholding.

He brings the charisma and the bubblyness (and some money) - all very necessary traits.

Sorry, diluted. He's an expert in turning round failing businesses, apparently.

I have to take my hat off to these guys
Open, honest, transparent, whatever words you want to use they done their best to give an answer ( Nigel said if you are not happy with our answers come back at us )
Even to put the Q and A on at such short notice is a big well done
I dread to think what would happen if we were still under the rule of the mad Italian !
At least they communicate with the fans, even sometimes if its not what we went to hear
Up the O's

As I said to my friend last night. Kent is the business minded one with his head screwed on where as Nigel knows how to play to the crowd. I got the impression neither were at all happy with what's happened. Nigel knows how to put things in a way that Orient fans will lap up.

Nigel talked about inconsistencies in football but he made a point to talk about how well Massachusetts has done with controlling covid, where clearly the USA as a whole hasn't. He says Orient followed the guidelines (which they did) but absolutely nothing stopped the club from doing better and leading the way with more regular testing.

Fair fucks to them all for doing it though. I thought RE spoke well especially.

Ross still hasnt told him what he thinks our position will be .

Remember a couple of Q& A's back he said
In the NL i told Justin We wanted to at least make the play-offs
To which JE responded , Really im looking at winning it .

Tell an American youre here to win it they are alo over it .
Shame JE never gave KT an opinion of where we might have finished
In our 1st season back.

Maybe if he rubbed it a genie would appear.

I think you've got them the wrong way around.

Nigel has an emotional connection to the club. Kent is just an investor, he wants to protect his money

I think people always think that football club owners want to make a profit. We know that's always been a struggle
Surely, just like going out for a meal, once you've eaten and enjoyed it, the money has gone. So, the enjoyment of owning a football club is the main thing and it costs but I admit there is a financial limit. Clearly NT loves his club and is prepared to pay out
