Brentford turned down West Brom's offer to have their squad tested.

Questions need yo be asked .
How can a competition kick a team out because they
Take a test at the request of another team .

Yet other clubs seem to think there is no need for testing
And when one of those prem teams come down with it, delaying the season...then what? It will all come back to these fixtures. Its a joke but unfortunately no one will care until the £££ in the prem is affected.
I kind of think this could be a masterstroke move by the club .

End of the EFL & the entire game to be taken over by the F.A

Unlikely admittedly , but you never know .

And we get immunity early on in the season and rack up the point through forfeited games when everyone else gets it later on.

Indeed & also the 0.00001 % chance we beat them & would gain
more money from sky if Chelsea were to beat Barnsley.
I doubt LOFC v Barnsley would be top of many tv companies lists
for entertainment

Not happening this evening...

https://www.leytonorient.com/2020/09/22 ... m-hotspur/

TONIGHT’S CARABAO CUP MATCH BETWEEN LEYTON ORIENT AND TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR IS NOT TAKING PLACE THIS EVENING AS SCHEDULED.
Discussions are ongoing between the relevant stakeholders in regards to the implications of the fixture not taking place tonight and a further update will be provided in due course.

Leyton Orient, the EFL and the relevant authorities are conducting a thorough review of the club’s Covid-19 secure procedures with the view to reopening the stadium and training ground as soon as possible.

The relevant authorities need to conduct a thorough review of the EFL's Covid procedures as you can bet your life that other clubs are also affected but not been identified yet.

It’s off, we will be kicked out and spurs provided with a bye. Hopefully I’m wrong, but nothing would surprise me with those idiots running the game.

If Spurs now get Covid will they have to forfeit their advance or will a different rule apply ? They may not let on that they've got it.

And according to the BBC Mark Travis is the chairman.

This is like a club Sean O'Neill

Compromise on the table is that LOFC have to abide by competition rules and forfeit the game, Spurs are now willing to cover our losses to avoid an unwanted fixture reaarangement. seems like a good "get out" for all parties.
