Oh f*** off.
How about going 90 minutes without a beer. It’s possible if you try really hard.
But why have to try? If it increases the clubs revenue and there's a demand then what's the problem. Rugby has been doing it for years.
p*ssed up fans are less likely to social distance.
Stops fans grouping together in the bar though.

Should have believed & got yerself.a.season card .
As far as I know they still haven't been sent out yet .I'm still waiting for mine . Actually come to think about it , does anybody know when these season cards are supposed to be sent out .?
Didn't Macklin say they were still being tested and wouldn't be sent out until club was happy with the quality of the cards and the system?

Can't even get a response from the club about my missing codes for the streaming pass so arranging 1,000 tickets in 3 days would be interesting
A season ticket holder tells me he's had the text about this and it ain't starting till sometime in October

Correct

500 were on some of the Balconies with the rest on ladders around the ground.

Way I read the e-mail was that the pilot was gonna start in the first weekend in October and only select clubs would be chose. Any clubs located in an area where preventive measures were in place would be automatically excluded.
In the lower leagues I still say this should be done as a % of capacity not a set figure as it's obviously gonna be easier to have a 1000 fans distanced in the Reebok that holds 28,000 than Salfords ground which hold 5,000.

Pay on the gate?
There is literally zero chance of that. Any attendance at any pilot event has to be strictly controlled, with supporters given allocated staggered arrival times in advance to make in-flow as safe as possible. The complete opposite of 1,000-odd people turning up 5 minutes before kick-off not knowing where to sit. And that's before any consideration of infection measures around cash handling.

The cheering seems to be coming from where the cameras are , in the West side somewhere...

No Spectators will be at the game on Saturday.
The club were given just 3 and a half hours notice yesterday morning to submit plans to the EFL and gain approval from the local Safety Advisory Group. While this was done there is not enough time to organise tickets, Stewarding and put in place the requisite safety measures.

I'm actually going to be the Official Orient Paraglider for the day. Had to pull a few strings but hopefully will be a good view.

Fully understand the issues, but obviously 8 other clubs were better placed or more keen than we were. Lets hope a chance is not missed again the next time an opportunity arises.

Did note this on the website. So pretty much no way this can happen by Saturday. So if there was to be a test event, it probably would be pay on the gate.
https://www.leytonorient.com/2020/09/15 ... lder-form/
Season Card Holders are now encouraged to advise us of their group requirement for admission to restricted capacity games.
Season Card Holders have until 9am on Monday 21st September to complete the below ‘Return of Fans’ form for themselves and up to 5 other people in their group.
So am I right in thinking that some ST holders could get to see a number of games and some might not get selected to see any? Because that doesn’t sound very fair at all.

Agreed.
The only fair way is to not let any one in until we can all go back.

If you don’t get to go to one game, you’ll be prioritised for the next

You should have supported the club when offered the chance and opportunity. It is right and fair that those people who did get priority over other who did not.

That's not what it says. It specifically says "randomly selected"

It’s too much administration and will cause too much friction.
Keep everyone out until it’s safe for all to return.
