Much better 2nd half, we’ve upped the tempo and playing some nice stuff.
Same as the weekend.
Shame about our defending . 2-2

Seems to have been an eventful last 10 minutes

Strikers looking sharp by the sounds of it. Sounds encouraging

I’m not sure where to start. Lots of pluses as well as a few negatives to take from that.
First half was dull. They had all the ball but couldn’t create anything of note. We kept going long to Johnson up top who tries, bless him, but just isn’t the one to lead the attack on his own. We weren’t pressing them effectively high up, instead keeping our shape at the back. The goal came from a set piece, Turley is unplayable at the back stick and put it back across the goal and after a weak clearance it fell to Ling who couldn’t miss from 6 yards out. The only other chance was a screamer from outside the box from Johnson that rattled the bar.
Second half we came out charged up again, properly went for them and deservedly got a second. We had a couple of balls in from the right, Johnson swivelling and firing home from one of them.
The last half hour got looser and looser, the score could have been anything.
Some good performances out there, some not so good, and there’s a couple such as Turley who have to start on Saturday.
They had all the ball but created nowt. We’re just going long ball all the time.
Back 4 looks solid. The new boy isn’t getting close to his man, happening time and time again so must be deliberate. We’re playing 4-1-4-1, this is not a 4-3-3. It’s not pretty to watch but it’s effective. Dayton is the pick of the forward players.
Was Dayton playing on the right or was he in central areas?

Dayton and Wright were ahead of ling who was was holding.
JMD was wide right, Ruel wide left. Both wasted chasing back.
