Didn’t get one, am I allowed to whine ?

Point is most people got their ST in June before any news about individual
match prices were published. As it stands it’s going to cost more to watch Orient by paying up front for a season ticket than it does on a match by match basis if I’m not mistaken?
You can whine as much as you like. You will anyway whatever the circumstances. As you didn't buy a season ticket the cost benefits (or otherwise) don't affect you so I don't know why you'd waste time whining about something like that.

2 other points :

You don't know what most people did so that claim is simply an unsupported assertion on your part.
It won't cost me more to watch on a match by match basis as I almost certainly won't watch every game (yes, I'm only a part time supporter)
Whine, whine , whine

They didn't say that at all, you've taken two different things and mixed them together. They said that buying a season card could well be the only way of being able to physically go to home games once they're allowed to let fans in again. They've also said that season card holders will be able to stream home games for free if they can't be let in to the ground.

They've never said that buying a season card is the only way to stream, in fact quite the opposite - they've been pretty clear and open that streaming will be a major revenue source for them.

Yes, season card holders lose out on a purely amount-per-game basis if there's two or more in a household who'll watch the stream together - although I recall Danny Macklin saying in one of those Q&As that unused codes can be passed to friends etc. I fully expect there to be a roaring online trade of codes once the first home league match comes around.

There's always been a risk that buying a season card this season would be paying a premium over and above the streaming price per game, where games are behind closed doors. The premium is effectively reserving the possibility of getting to a home game once fans are allowed in (and even then, it's pretty obvious it won't be all 3,300-odd season card holders at once, for social distancing reasons)

Interesting reading the comments here, A Pedant sums it up pretty well. However I think the club has missed a trick here and should be giving ST holders *something* for their loyalty signing up and seemingly being out of pocket vs. per game streaming.

For what it'd cost to cover FGR's share of the stream revenue making the "first" game of the season free for ST holders would've been a bit of a thank you to the fans.

ST holders have been given something. Priority access when people are allowed in.

Why is this so difficult?

For years I have often dreamt about a time when I could watch the Os live every game on my TV or device. Now its here I'm not sure I'm that bothered.

-SKY SPORTS OWN THE RIGHTS TO THE EFL CUP.
-NO CLUB CAN NEGOTIATE THEIR OWN f*cking TV DEAL.
-ORIENT NEVER SAID THEY WILL STREAM EVERY GAME.
-THE EFL SET THE PRICING.

ST holders get a free stream for home league games. Everyone else has to pay. Everyone has to pay for away league games.

Why is that so f*cking hard to understand.

Stupid questions alert: anyone know if you can stream these matches via a laptop rather than the Orient TV app? And when do we get the code once we pay?

Asking for a friend... :~

I wonder when the streaming will start as the "Match Centre" is currently indicating a 5pm kick off and Fixture list on Orient and BBC websites is showing 3pm kick off. OPPs.

Even though the Orient live screen says a live countdown will commence at 13.30 with the studio starting at 14.30 when I click it just tells me I need a subscription even though payment shows in "my subscription" tab and in an email confirming this.
They sure know how to put people off IMO.

I normally pay about £45 for all the Dulcet Dave commentaries. Has that gone out the window this year ?
