Obviously Kent didnt see the play off final v Scunny where lingy ran the 3/4 of the length of the pitch to clear
a ball off of the line twice l, just before the final whistle .
Watch it at your leaisure Mr Teague
brilliant well done mate
A Defence & Midfield That got far less out of that season than they deserved
Oh for a Carl Griffiths up front that year
missed Carl big time, was he suspended or injured
(I was sitting with the clock to my left, I am sure after they scored that clock went faster and faster)
similar missed Eldin the Hull goalie against Rotherham
Nobody is disputing they are not a nice bunch of blokes. If they think Ross is Manager material however I will question their judgment and will continue to question their judgement until proven otherwise.
Whether any of us agree or disagree with some or all of the answers I am mightily impressed with the open way that everyone approaches these sessions. If we all agreed on everything it would be a bloody boring world and nothing would ever change so their honesty is encouraging and they clearly monitor and listen to our views.

Fair comment, as to if Ross will cut the mustard as ''Ross the Boss'' Well we all have our opinions on that one and like all things, time will give the answer to that question. For me he is not the answer, others think otherwise, well we shall see !

So we have six forwards and will not be signing another one. Also Widdowson will have try outs at centre half to avoid signing someone else it seems. That’s it then. We work with the 24 players we have.
If that’s the case, we’re going to be dipping into the loan market heavily.
Which to me is entirely sensible especially in this climate. I’m sure you will agree it will be vitally important we pick the right ones to supplement our existing squad.

Just watching it now
Replacing Marv with Joe Widdowson. Jesus.
28 mins in, Martin Ling talking about being smarter because the playing will have tired muscles etc after having such a heavy workload this season. If only we had someone to help keep the players good shape, like a sports scientist...
NIgel just said 'we chipped away at all the other budgets to make room for Matt' and the truth comes out at last. Reduction in staff due to the economic climate my f*cking arse.

We do have a sports scientist
A. We’ve got rid of one to make room for Matt Harrold

We got rid of an assistant, we still Have Michael Cooper (I think) the sports scientist In addition to a physio and sports therapist, so I think we have ample staff in that area. But I'm no expert, perhaps you are, but I'm happy to assume Ling knows what he's doing here.

Interesting take on it. If sports science is going to be a key part of next season due to the schedule, you don’t bin off any one from that department to make room for a bloke to go and watch football.

Very good. They laid to rest a lot of bollocks that is posted on here.
They do that every time there's a Q&A tbh. It's the same hysterical people who start panicking every few weeks when things aren't going exactly as planned and they haven't heard any reassurance from the club

This is what makes me proud of our club. I doubt there is any other club in the four divisions who give their fans such an insight into the clubs thinking, plans and actions. We have a team of Directors who make the time to communicate like this on a regular basis.
If anything they're too open. They explain decisions so much to fans that as soon as something goes slightly wrong they start thinking they can do a better job.

Don't think they can be too open, it's not the board that cause the conspiracy theories it's the usual suspects on here, who no matter what you tell them, or for that matter don't tell them spin it because it doesn't meet their wild expectations of what a club in League two should be doing. We all know who they are nothing will ever change them.
I'm not sure it's about being too open but there is definitely too much information.
As recently as 20 years ago you'd go to a game and 2 players would be in the starting line up you'd never seen, the shop had been refurbished, a new kit was released in the programme or a coach had been sacked and it had been mentioned in the managers notes. Now we learn every single little detail from injuries to U23 games being live reported to interviews with normally unknown stuff, and in between games and events it just gets poured over and over and that means it'll always find itself a negative route somewhere. Just probably the world we're in now.

We need to either ignore or just tell them to ‘shut it, bruv’
For me, it's good they are open but when their decisions are suspect its naturally going to have some point holding them to account. It's one thing not knowing the details and being negative and theres another where you have a lot of information and are basing your opinions and concerns on that. I think it's a positive thing for the club in the long run.
I'm sure Nigel and Kent understand good culture and part of that for most successful companies is usually always a continual feedback loop, challenge not only accepted but encouraged and customers at the heart of every decision. Unfortunately most people on here dont understand that relatively simple concept, maybe they are old fashioned form a time where a company did what it wanted and if you didnt like it then you know what you could do. It really baffles me but there you go, maybe its a generational thing.
Well I know half of your act is a wum but if you really dont think that some (one maybe?), or any of the decisions over the last 3 years have been wrong or questionable then theres no point engaging. Even Nigel and Kent would admit they've got some things wrong and probably some recent things as well.
The only other explanation is that you're on the payroll. Makes sense if you were considering all the time on here you spend on here.

Could be a generational thing but T&T are not from a younger generation. For me it's quite the opposite, it's not the older generations failing to understand and embrace openness from what I can see it's a lot of "younger" fans who seem to equate it as a lack of ambition when decisions are made that they don't agree with, moreso when Im sure a lot of them probably don't go to that many games.

Thick people will be thick, regardless of if they are open or not. I think there's a difference to pointing out some obvious bad logic, flawed decision, perceived bad direction, etc...than just moaning about not buying 1000 strikers or calling Ruel a traitor because he didnt sign last year. There seems to be a hard line for some people that you cannot challenge, irrespective of if you have a valid point or not - something i'm sure T&T wouldn't want to embrace.

we can be part of conference prem & there wasnt alot to choose from & it
didnt work out , so it got changed .
