Pity we didn’t lock down the borders in the opening months of the year, seemed the obvious thing to do at the time, once it had become clear how quickly it was spreading in China.

Anyone who has booked a holiday since the relaxation of restriction has accepted the risk that the country they are in could be moved onto the quarantine list – so no point them throwing the dice then complaining when they lose.

Agree re people quarantining though, I suspect many will simply ignore it.
