Had a week in New York in early Feb before the virus kicked off (didn't plan it that way, just luck). That'll do me till next year.

Nope, staying in Scotland. Might pop down to Norfolk to meet up with some family towards the end of August - depending on hotels etc

Went to Florence 2 weeks ago. Moved my trip to New York from March to September but took the flight voucher to go next year. Gonna f*** off to Netherlands instead and somewhere else. Trip to Berlin and a couple of other long weekends before the year is out

September Parma for 2 nights
October Dubrovnik for 3 nights
November Tenerife for 5 nights
The less people that are there the better. I'm so frazzled from all of this that I've started to not care about if there is a risk associated with flying. Not been so long without a break in a decade as I have now. I work long hours, a least 6 days a week, so I need a break.

Is there really a significant risk from flying? Thought that the air circulation systems meant it was relatively safe if wearing a mask.

I wouldn't personally want to test it. So many people get ill on long haul and now you add this in to the mix and I'd suggest mask or not its not worth it.

Some Airlines are advertising that air on board is now cleaned to be 99.7% free of germs, and far cleaner and safer than your local supermarket, bus or train carriage.

Maybe, but you probably stay on your local bus or train for, what, up to 30 mins? Compare that with time spent on a plane, especially if longhaul.

I’m not suggesting what you’ve written is wrong, but isn’t the air now dirtier than when people smoked on planes? I’m sure I’ve read that somewhere previously. The upshot being that the system does not have to work so hard to purify the air and this less fuel is used which increases profitability for the plane owner, that was the gist of the article.

Air bridges into Spain may close. Second wave in Spain. If you can’t wait a year to go abroad you deserve everything you get!

I too am surprised anyone is THAT desperate to get some sun that they're prepared to travel abroad in the current circumstances. I'd love to go on holiday, but only when I'm going to enjoy it .

A grand for a caravan?
Quarantine for anybody going to Spain. Is insurance even going to be valid?
Think this pretty much finishes any hope of going abroad for myself.
