Cycling - used to regularly spend a week in France catching some stages, atmosphere is wonderful in a country whet it's almost a religion.
Sailing - love it, crap at racing myself but total admiration for the Ainslies of the sport
Athletics - what is there not to like and admire?

Thinking on this, it’s struck me outside football how much my interest has waned over the years in other sports and for a variety of reasons – F1 (over-hyped, occasionally watch), cricket (no longer free-to-air live, still follow Essex’s results though), boxing (too many champions, lost interest completely), snooker (the golden era gone), cycling (used to follow the Tour de France daily, until I started wondering how many winners were drug cheats).
Still have an interest in Rugby Union (internationals only) and Tennis (Wimbledon mainly) if perhaps a bit less than it was, and Golf too (love the Masters, sadly Ryder Cup and British Open only pay-per-view).
Best events to watch outside football remain the Olympics/ Winter Olympics.
Beyond those specific events, the three I enjoy watching the most would be:
Athletics
Touring Cars
Horse racing (when attending in person)

Was at Tipperary v Wexford semi last summer not really backing either team, though leaning towards Tipperary due to my wife's family, and that was a great game as well. Have also been to Galway v KIlkenny All Ireland final not rooting for either just because I was in Dublin at the time.
GAA did a really nice ticket last season where you get the two quarter finals (on same day) and two semis (on different days on the same weekend) at Croke Park for about 100 euro. Due to circumstances beyond my control, i could only make the second semi, but sold the other two days (at normal face value) for enough to make it a freebie. Was planning to do it this summer as well.
Tickets are normally around 20 euro, and OAPs get 5 euro back at the gate. First flight out and last flight back, so rarely costs that much. Mostly beer money.

Hurling- probably my favourite sport along with football. Sadly CoVid 19 ruined my trip to Limerick & Cork earlier this month. Have to watch it live, loses a lot on TV. This is the greatest game I ever saw live in any sport
skip first hour if you are short of time, last 20 minutes are incredible.
Far better game & i wasnt even backing either side

My Cousins Son in law has played in a couple of Football finals for Mayo.
Growing up down in Cork during summer holidays certainly gave me my
tatser for the small ball game .
What I love about it most, is that fans can have serious banter & then shake hands after
a game & share a beer or 10.

My second (or third, not sure exactly, but we are both related to my great grandparents) cousin plays for Clare, so we have an interest.
Thurles and Croke Park are great places to go to. No matter where I have been I end up meeting lots of great people in the ground, pub and on the plane. I think they are amazed I travel from London to watch.
Never seen a game in Cork, but have been to a concert at the big tent, and met some great people at the gig and the pub and hotel. Was in recovery on the plane home and just needed to sleep after pillaging the lounge for essential supplies prior to boarding.
