There was a few handbags. The copper starts choking the black bloke at the start and then isn't strong enough to stop him pushing him over? And the other copper is basically doing nothing?

Wonder if people who are truly outraged at this will still support the party that have cut budgets and police numbers? Looks like there is a training issue as well? Why are 2 coppers expected to deal with a group of 8 people?
That's right, make a party political broadcast and blame the Tories and the two police officers themselves for this outrageous assault on two people doing their jobs.

Disgraceful.
Who funds the police force, mate?

Dont worry, dont demand better funding at training. It's all the blacks fault.

It looked very much to me from the video that the cop was the one who started the violence.

I've already told you - not the way they do it now.

On Radio 4 this week, the book of the week is by ex Met cop John Sutherland. He has some very good ideas.

An area crying out for a task force to implement the same approach as Glasgow's violence reduction unit.

The rougher areas stuck together more back then as communities. You could leave your door open and people would pop in and out of each other's houses. Much like how they portray it on Eastenders today

I don't recall many bars on windows when I was kid in Hackney in the 70's.

Maybe it was because people had sod all so there was nothing to nick off of each other.
Or maybe people just had more respect for each other.
