Might have been a tube strike too or just some other industrial action, bit of it about then
That was the year the tube staff refused to carry the Scots on the underground and so there were no Metropolitan Line trains running that day

Thank you, it did all kick off after the game, but I left early because I got a lift back

Sure, but not necessarily underground trains.
