If so many people hate him how come he won a thumping great majority in the general election and the so called heart of the labour party supporters in the north of the country deserted your dated socialist thinking and voted for him.StillSpike wrote: ↑Fri Apr 10, 2020 3:43 pmMaybe it's his actions (and inactions) and his words, rather than simply being conservative, that makes people hate him so much.Beradogs wrote: ↑Fri Apr 10, 2020 3:18 pm I don’t get why the left still have such hate for the current Tory party and especially Johnson. It must be a habit thing, Tory scum etc because they are not in any way conservative anymore. I have nobody to vote for!
I think that’s pretty obvious Thor. Amidst all their blinkered ideology some dare to use the word democracy or even talk about freedom and the avoidance of a police state. Unbelievable.
You should have also included winning as Major of London twice. Arguably the most diverse City in the world. The real truth is Boris is extremely popular..point nine one eight wrote: ↑Sat Apr 11, 2020 10:28 amIf so many people hate him how come he won a thumping great majority in the general election and the so called heart of the labour party supporters in the north of the country deserted your dated socialist thinking and voted for him.StillSpike wrote: ↑Fri Apr 10, 2020 3:43 pmMaybe it's his actions (and inactions) and his words, rather than simply being conservative, that makes people hate him so much.Beradogs wrote: ↑Fri Apr 10, 2020 3:18 pm I don’t get why the left still have such hate for the current Tory party and especially Johnson. Your views our blinkered and belong to the past and are the reason you are always losing voters. You once had good support in England, now gone, you once had similar support in wales now diminishing, You once had good support in Scotchland, now wiped out. You lost the last two Election before a vote was cast, all you had to do once you made him leader was walk down almost any high street and ask people what they thought of Jeremy Corblimy. the biggest failing labour leader
Of course he is. Personally I don’t like him much as a person but accept he is a leader and a man who gets things done. He has an opinion and is not afraid to speak his mind. What you see is what you get. Far more a man of the people than Corbyn ever could be. As you say even in a diverse city.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 11, 2020 11:44 amYou should have also included winning as Major of London twice. Arguably the most diverse City in the world. I think some peoples hatred of Boris is inversely proportional to his success. The more some slag him off the more I appreciate just how good a job he is doing.

He spent most of Feb sunning himself on a billionaires Island and the past 2 weeks off work isolating/in intensive care because he was ignoring the experts advice. Frontline medics are dying because they don’t have adequate PPE. Our daily dead figures are going through the roof, exceeding the rest of Europe. He’s flipped and flopped over the best approach to take to combat this. Don’t you dare tell me he’s doing a good job.Redline wrote: ↑Sat Apr 11, 2020 12:01 pmOf course he is.
