Roman Catholicism doesnt believe That Jesus was the son of God either Nom .
Nope not a google check .
Just 11 years working 5 days a week with a devout muslim whom i shared many discussions about Islam Catholicism & Judaism ( we also worked with 3 jewish people) & so it led me to read the holy books of the other 2 religions.
I am no practicer of any religion anymore but i do believe the possiblilty of 1 supreme entity.
Tell me Nom , where is your local mosque ?
Id love to go & offer prayer & reflection with you .
Ive done this half a dozen times & also 3 or 4 times to synagogue as well.

Sad that you'd lie about such things.

Not to far from me .
Id love to go with you ,
I can get My friend Abid & probably another 20 brothers to join you in prayer ,
Are you Sunni or Shiah ?
I wouldnt want to bring the wrong brothers that could lead to some unfortunate angst for all.

It's like watching a written version of "call my bluff" - if only Frank Muir and Alan Coren were still here to make it funny!

Not at all . Most of my friends would be older people & therefore much more peaceful .
U wouldnt want them coming to a place where some might take offence.
I have shia & sunni friends so either is good.
Tell me have you done Umra yet & when do you plan doing the voluntary one , Hadj i think its called.

Nope not necessarily as i believe that the prophets are people who believed that they were indeed the messengers of God , but that God may have showed himself to mankind .
Other than that i dont really go to deep into the philsophy or existentialisms of religions , more the people who follow them & there NEED to do so.
I mean i do believe that "God" is in fact a Scientist
Now could you pin me down to a Chemist physicist or biologist id probably say all 7 of the ancient sciences.

Cheers, tuffers,
very interesting.
I hope you didn't mind me asking but, I seldom encounter Deists and was wondering if you might consider yourself to be one. Not quite, it would seem.

No problem baz.
Im personally someone who believes that if something helps you get through life in a way that helps you & maybe others along your journey good luck.
Not up to these mad people who would use religion as a way to slaughter people for believing something else.
Hence why i am a non practising Catholic.
To much death & depravity in the name of something that is meant to be for the betterment of ones life.

He really should give it up as i made a deliberate mistake any muslim who eats bacon & drinks whisky would have been able to point out.

I'm afraid that I haven't spotted the deliberate mistake either, tuffers but, I had my doubts about NOM's seriousness after he used the name '..jeez..' in an exclamation and soon followed it by noting that,
"Islam don’t believe Jesus was the son of God, but they do revere him as a holy prophet."
Taking the name of a prophet in vain isn't really revering him, is it

I wouldnt mind but it is a mistake any Muslim would defend vociferously
As soon as it was made,
Id ban him for abusing anyone who holds there religous belief highly.
He obviously thinks one can just abuse it, by pretending he would practice a part of it & therefore belittling anyone who does have a devout
religous belief.
Isnt it part of the MB rules ?

This is too funny tell me mr so called atheist how many times in your life have you said oh my god for gods sake Jesus Christ etc etc and I’m criticised for saying jeez
Definition of jeez - a mild expression used to show surprise or annoyance.
I suggest you two go to the library together but remember ssssh

Anyone with a half a brain & a modicum of Religous education in a comprehensive school should be able to spot it.
Except.your good self NomNuts
Or just ask Gary Google or maybe Ali Dawah , or Steve
