Shed 5kg (83>78) and I'm almost there in power output. Have upped my game in March and am at 100 miles per week right now. I suspect with he lock down I might start hitting 120, but have to be mindful of the objective.
I do 80 miles cycle commute in 4 days.Actually I count it as 19 miles per commute although generally it's very close on 20.Last year I did 173 cycle commutes.I'm thankful I stopped booze over three years ago.I'm 56 also.I do turbo trainer on my days off and sometimes after a work day.I shedded weight after dropping the booze but on the early turbo trainer days use my workmates were worried as I dropped quite a bit of weight. It was funny and quite a booster, really. That's years of junk food and boozing.Reckon I was generally two stone overweight, combined with the job I do but I made four changes in 2017.There was a problem as I was suffering depression and the hospital wrongly diagnosed the problem and prescribed me Levothyroxine.Over two years later I stopped taking it but I should have consulted with the doctor first.

Latest news.Bit of maintenance of the fixie and I found one of the bolts on the front wheel loose.I thought it was behaving strangely.I thought it was the bearings.Must admit I'm shocked. :o 😲
Need to keep checking that because if there is a problem then the bike will be withdrawn from service.

Camera fitted. Not to catch out naughty motorists or bank robbers. Will be a memory if we get through this ok.Will probably upload it to you tube if the next cycle commute on Saturday is going to be as expected.

Twinged my lower back last week (mundanely bending forward to tie shoelaces, ffs), so have had to lay off the exercise. Can still walk around slowly and sit/loaf without discomfort, but the transition movements have been bloody painful. Not great when there’s more enforced boredom and anxious news watching now, which needs greater quantities of scoffed chocs and beers to get by. Getting easier, though, and hope to be back in the cardio/strength/stretch saddle in a few more days.

For exercise of the mind I'm embarking on the 890 page book by Leon Trotsky on that fud Stalin. Should be fun.
You like fishing Max! Not surprised given your posts.

Yes, thanks for asking. Seventeen hours 35 minutes on a plane, chocker. But slept for half. Terminals quiet both ends and a quick drive home via the M25.

Now in isolation.

Glad to be home.
