With regard to Steve having a once a month chat show, what we have discussed is Steve recording some interviews for us to play out in the close season, also a legends evening may be planned where we record the show at the supporters club (with their permission) & have a live audience who we can get questions from

Seriously so much outrage because the man sticks to what he believes, he is not obliged legally to conduct the blessing and he's following CofE guidlines. Why should the Reverand Comfort be bullied into doing something which he doesn't believe in. They could have got another clergyman to do the blessing so I can't see why it's such a problem. No issues with same sex marriage myself but there are obviously still quite a few who are uncomfortable (no pun intended) with it.

In a situations like this a holy man must look inwards to examine the strength of his resolve and faith and ask himself: "What would Jesus have done?" He would not have discriminated against gay people.

Best show yet IMHO.

Alan Comfort was good value enjoyed hearing about his career in general and time at the O's in perticular, he really was exciting to watch. The interview by Steve Tongue with Kent Teague was excellent and he clearly remains very commited to the club and reiterated that he intends to make his financial investment a gift to the club. ended with him getting very emotional about Justin who he obviously held in great regard.

What a player Alan Comfort was. He was worth the entrance fee alone. The number of times he drifted in from the left and drilled in shots with his right was frightening and he terrorised defences in his position on the left wing. Scored more goals than Kevin Campbell apparently. Now, i'm not an expert but i'm not so sure he would have had the same impact as a left back. Maybe Ross might have had other ideas.. I may be wrong but his major attributes were running at defenders in forward positions. tackling, and defending, not so sure. Ross ,i'm not saying that Brophy is anywhere near Comfort but is there any chance at all that we can see him in his rightful position now that we are safe ??
