No but you did give an opinion on our youth system even tho our record would tell a different story.
Obafemi
Moses
Alzate
Happe
Koroma
Red o you can be red cards assistant.

Our youth system has been incredibly productive in recent years under the watchful eye of Andy Edwards. Long may that continue now he's gone.
What's that got to do with this talent not being fully utilised?

Surprise, surprise both goals at Cheltenham were conceded down our left hand side. Isn't this becoming a little like Groundhog day. Didn't the same happen last game and the game before. Doesn't Embleton learn from his mistakes or at least look over the footage ?
Firstly, Brophy is and never will be a left back. Hes a player who's major strength is running at people from advanced positions . As a defender he simply hasn't got the positional sense. He gets the wrong side of players and doesn't cut off danger Sometimes he can make up for that with pace but there will be one moment in the game when he's found out. Embleton makes a very decent player on the wing look like a poor player at full back. Can't he see this ? Did we ever see Alan Comfort play at left back? Did Klopp persist with Milner at left back when Robertson came through ? With Widdowson back fit who has lived and breathed the left back position his entire career, isn't Embleton s decision laughable ? We are simply throwing away points from simple decisions that are baffling.
Secondly , haven't we learnt that when we revert from simple back four to three/ five at the back this leaves wide gaps on the wings for teams to exploit. Its happened time and time again conceding goals of this nature yet Embleton turned to this yet again.
On paper , with players in their right positions. and proper 442 formation, I feel this squad is good enough to be top ten. . I believe we all would like Ross to succeed but these decisions unfortunately cost us time and time again so you can see why supporters get frustrated as we are handing the opposition victories. My concern is that Embleton just can't see players strengths and weakness and that accounts for bizarre decisions and formations.
Totally agree with all the points made. Teams come to us and know we have difficulties defending our flanks and exploit the weakness. Brophy was exposed by Cheltenham. From Wednesdays meet the manager he said he does not want to start 442 because teams expose our midfield. If that’s true then we are lacking quality in the middle of the pitch.Cisse has been a good acquisition but we lack a good attacking and robust ball winner in the mould of Adams this season. Let’s not be negative in our thoughts and play a system that will suit players like Wilkinson and Angol as targetmen

First goal took a wicked deflection away from everyone
Second goal wind assisted
But yeah let’s blame Embleton
Jeez some people
We were dire in the second half and had no idea how to get out of our half . We then go one up front to defend in numbers . That only makes the other team come at us in numbers. We should not blame weather conditions . Tactically Embleton was lost in knowing what to do to combat the conditions . He must take the blame.

If ross has admitted that, can someone please explain why the dof has not sorted him out the required player who would make us more robust in the middle. If he said that, its quite an admission.

Effectively, when all are fit we have not one, not two, not three, not four, not five but SIX players who can play on the wing out wide. Namely Brophy, Maguire Drew, Dayton, Jobi, Dennis and Sterling. We can all talk about this 'in the hole ' nonsense demonstrated by the ineffectiveness of Dayton but in reality the wing would be their preferred position . Yet, who does Embleton play out wide ?? A bemused Johnson who admits is a goal poacher suited to the middle.
Surely now that we are almost safe , Embleton needs to LOSE THE FEAR about his midfield and at least trial 442. As an opposition manager, at this level, I wouldn't want to see Brophy runnng at me from the left. Maguire drew wide on the right. I wouldn't want to see Soitrou taking pot shots in the middle at every opportunity working ALONGSIDE a clever player like Angol. I think that a midfield of Cisse and Marsh could hold up . Go on Ross, start getting positive and give us something to cheer about now that the shackles are off.

That involves dropping Clay and Wright, tho.
