Problem is his appointment / re-appointment has really divided the fanbase and it feels like the football version of Brexit every week. Either the Embleton lovers or the "moaners" out to bash the other side each time. Can't see it changing either, really does need a change in summer to unite the club again imo.

In this case not a close run thing like Brexit was, more like I would guess only around 25% ''Rose Coloured Glasses'' Embleton lovers on this forum and with the supporters in general.

Spot on. Regardless of mine or your opinion of Ross, or of other fans, the fact is that no one is united and I really cant see us going anywhere with that level of disagreement throughout the club.

Real supporters would unite behind whoever is in charge instead of being childish.

Absolute waffle
Elaborate
He is not an Idiot & he has passed his badges
Therefore he is fit to be a football league manager/head coach.
True. Just lacks the experience and learning on the job is pretty tough.

As Ross said No need for agression

There are many who dont want him as manager but there are as many who do.

What Muppet claims its 75% in ravour of him out ,
No proof of that whatsoever .

Just ludricous drivel .

They'll be telling us the Earth is Flat next & wind farms give you Cancer.

Just had a good unbeaten run and we're properly safe from relegation.

Didn't take the moaners long to crawl out from their rocks though.

Played the worst sides in the division, if we lost to those then there really is no hope. The Embleton lovers went way overboard proclaiming him as a managerial genius for beating Stevenage and even saw some bizarre talk of play-offs. Reality bites again today, same old sloppy errors it seems.

If we want to move forward and challenge at the right end of the table we need someone better doing the rebuild imo. Thing is the club seems more concerned about keeping certain staff happy than success on the pitch, such is the "unique culture" we keep being told about these days.

We lost by one goal 3 minutes from time, away, in very difficult conditions. I didn't enjoy watching it at all but we've been doing well so let's not overreact.

As you were watching it, do you think we would have lost if we never changed shape or made the subs? Cos we faced a lot of shots without conceding and when you do let one in like that it hurts deeply as a player. What’s your view?

It was coming, just couldn't get in the game second half. Not sure what could have been done.

Does anyone seriously believe, hand on heart, that with Ross in charge we'd have won promotion last season? The problem I have with Ross is that his footballing philosophy, from the off, has been negative and the attitude on the pitch has been lacklustre. When JE arrived it felt like the club had a rocket up the arse. Under Ross there's just the recognisable stench of failure. If you've watched football for any length of time you'll know what I mean. With a few very obvious exceptions you can tell the managers who are going to be gone by Christmas. There's just no bounce. The new manager hasn't added anything. There's no spring in the step. There's no fresh new ideas. There's no personality being built. No togetherness. The same old weaknesses are still there but new ones have been added to the mix too. You see it with appointments all the time. Ross, for all the world, looks like a bloke who's going to be a footnote in the history books. Maybe I'm being harsh but Ross is making it very, very easy to be. If he doesn't want to be criticised like this then maybe he should work out why his spell in charge has been so dire. I don't pick the team or train the players. He does.

One suggestion would be to get into the game. Or make the most of it with the wind behind you like Cheltenham did.

The wind obviously played a part in this game but Cheltenham had the wind in their face for 45 just like we did. 3 strikers in the pitch with a fairly decent midfield and we mustered 4 shots the whole game??! Not acceptable, not even close. 20 shots had by Cheltenham, thank f@ck they didn’t have their scoring boots on or this could have been very embarrassing.

RE might be liked by the team and some of the fans but it really is not cutting it right now. He has to be replaced in May.

That is why I’ve asked a few times did we win the toss? When you have big winds like today you go against it in the first half and weather out the storm, in the second half with the wind in your sails and the other team tiring you use the wind to your advantage. It looks like they did that to full effect.

That’s why I’m intrigued about who won the toss.

Very fair to question the subs, but the last sentence isn't necessary. I think RE has shown good qualities recently & made big decisions (I. E dropping Wright).
Think we just need to be patient, accept he will makes mistakes, but will develop into a good manager for the club.

When you’re frustrated, angry and see the head coach making the same mistakes over and over again it is sometimes hard to hold your tongue. Sorry to anyone I offended.

why wait? Let the new guy have a good look at the squad and the place before going for promotion next season. Worked for JE 2 years ago.
