Small players are often quite tough, think Billy Bremner, Johnny Giles, Bobby Collins, Bobby Kellard, and lastly in the 1966 England world cup winning team were Nobby ''bites your legs'' Stiles and the fiery Alan Ball, both of these players were only 5' 5'' tall !!

Pity.
I can think of at least three players I'd rather have at right back than Judd and that doesn't even include our first choice right back.
Really? Who?

This will be a laugh.

RedO wrote: Wed Feb 12, 2020 4:21 pm Didn't seem so smart when he let his winger come inside him on Saturday and resulted in their goal. Nor when the winger tore past him and set up their best chance last night.

If we don't think Judd (or Ling) is the answer at right back, then get rid of one of them and go and get another right back. A proper right back.

If we don't think Marsh is the answer at DCM, then go and get someone who is (cough Cisse cough).

I'm sure that Marsh will, in time, be a very competent L2 midfielder. He's only 21, he will continue to improve. But let's not try and fit square pegs in round holes or whatever the saying is.
Marsh has spent much of his youth career as a right back so it's not really a square peg.

It's possible for players to change positions, or play positions they might otherwise not to play at a higher level.

Jason Demitriou and Moses Odubajo come to mind.
Where are you getting this nonsense about Marsh playing much of his career as a right back?

Are you a spurs fan or something?

It's not just his hard tackling though, it's more they way that he doesn't get pushed off the ball. Perhaps it's a balance thing.

Don’t get the love in with Judd - more of an anti “Ling” thing.

Marsh is clearly a good right back - would be more than happy if he signed for us.

Seems like you have been overdosing on the many recent Peter Crouch tv adverts, radio and tv show appearances !

It's not so much a 'love in'.

It's that he's still only a 20 year old kid and has been treated abysmally since he first surfaced 4 years ago.
