That’s weird because I heard Macclesfield used the same tactics

Aggregate of 4-1 to macc over the two games, for a team with about 6 first team players.

I agree . Play like that Tuesday night and we'll lose .The only good thing about today is we didn't lose and Stevenage lost again so we're another point further away from the bottom spot .Winchesterfan wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2020 5:57 pm Negative tactics, stupid time wasting at corner, endless poor passes and a bit of bad luck. Two points thrown away, again.

Was really considering going to the Mansfield game, which would be my first since mid November, but after reading about today’s game I think I’ll sit in and watch paint dry.
What a waste of a season ticket/money.

AW get yourself over there and support the team. Hopefully we will be better on tuesday as I hope they have been absolutely blasted after that performance and tuesday sees the bounce back from that.

If I do and it’s the same or worse, can I blame you?

When we play at a tempo down the flanks and show some positivity we are a match for anyone, unfortunately we don’t play that way until the opposition scores. Their equalizer came virtue of the ludicrous attempt at running the clock down, when we should have taken the corner and gone for a second. Instead of us threatening with a corner they got possession from the goal kick.

Absolutely this . Sad thing is this isn't the first time its happened . You can blame the players all you want but this is solely down to Emblers negative tactics .MrB wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2020 7:18 pm100%Redcard wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2020 7:17 pm When we play at a tempo down the flanks and show some positivity we are a match for anyone, unfortunately we don’t play that way until the opposition scores. A bit of a let down, but fair play to Macclesfield I guess, that was a top 8 budget against probably the lowest budget but they are scrapping away.
TBH if we had attacked and they went down and scored people would be slating the game management and saying we should have held it in the corner. Against 9 men of Cheltenham, that was different.
Anyway I am glad we got the points on the board, the next run of games could be quite tough. A lot of the teams around us have new managers and have improved a little.
Not gonna be a big fan if we take Ross into a new season if we finish 19th or 20th. By April he will be in charge for a full season (bar the few games that Fletcher had) but IMO he just feels like a caretaker even if his job title says otherwise.

Fair result for two teams who couldn't really be bothered.

Whilst watching from the North End it was very interesting to watch another game going on at the same time.
Namely, our left back versus Macca's right back. I think Brophy just shaded it.

Just say it straight. He's not a manager we will prosper under.eagwgw wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2020 7:27 pm A bit of a let down, but fair play to Macclesfield I guess, that was a top 8 budget against probably the lowest budget but they are scrapping away.

1 point further away from Stevenage .
Not Embletons players as a whole.
His 2 signings have been very impressive
Unbeaten & 2 clean sheets for Vigouroux.
Once Ross has redone his squad i expect
bigger & better things next year

We’re 19th in the league and Macclesfield would be above us without their points deduction
Why are you lot chatting like we’re in the top 6

I love being a pessimist because when Orient actually do win it's like Christmas come early...or it is Christmas...One or the other.

I really thought that we would come flying out the blocks, press them down quickly, move the ball out wide sharpish and stretch the play putting crosses in the box and through balls to a willing Ruel to finish. I really thought I would see a continued upswing in our performance, building on he last few or so weeks instead we’ve taken two steps back. Proper disappointed.

This is quite the overreaction. We’re a lower mid-table side and got a typical lower mid-table result yesterday. Some fans need to temper their expectations in what is quite clearly a period of transition for us

Re: A draw... Against Macclesfield..... At home
We are thirteen points ahead of the bottom team, so are probably pretty safe now.
What bothers me is, what happens next?
Starting in August, if the same people are calling the shots, we will no doubt be struggling once again.
Ling needs to go..........no really, he does. He's clueless about who is a good player, and who isnt.......he always has been.
Hearn sacked him in 2009, because he was poor in his player selection, same thing happened to Ling in his next job at Cambridge United.
Ross isnt cut out for the managers job either, but hes a novice and he might improve, but Ling is too long in the tooth now
