You are SO negative. We didn’t want a knee jerk reaction to Justin’s passing and many people including Justin’s family needed to be consulted and involved in any tribute to him. Why do you have to make such sad and unhelpful remarks? The club has done the right thing and it was very appropriate that the naming happened at yesterday’s match for obvious reasons.PoundhillO wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 4:29 pmAbout time, should have been done ages ago.Top of the West. wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 3:37 pm Being re-named tomorrow.
Ahead of tomorrow's game v @NewportCounty, the Club is delighted to announce that the West Stand at @BreyerGStadium will be officially renamed 'The Justin Edinburgh Stand', in tribute to our former title-winning Head Coach.

Agree with this 100%. Short of having got through to the 3rd round of the FA Cup and drawn Spurs, I can't think of a better opposing team for such an event than the other club he got promoted to the Football League.Winchesterfan wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2020 2:38 pm We didn’t want a knee jerk reaction to Justin’s passing and many people including Justin’s family needed to be consulted and involved in any tribute to him. (Although also agree bringing in some insurance firm in some sponsorship deal is tacky in the extreme).
