I don’t agree, but, people do have different opinions. That’s what message boards should be about.

Trouble wjth opinions is that while 1 person drones on about nust 1 factor , they ususlly ignore tje 5 or 6 glaring reasons why this 1 glaring factor is restricted.

Ok, I'll list all I can remember.
The signing of Alabi. Quite the worst I've seen. I can't believe he signed a player who couldn't even do the basics like control a ball etc.

The signing of Gorman. He had a serious injury and was still injured when Ling brought him to the club. With a bone break, you can never be 100% sure how is going to heal, and if the player will ever play at the same standard as before. Gorman was ages away from being able to train and I believe he missed all pre season training.

The signing of his son Sam. At the time we had two Right backs here, Caprice, and Judd. We didn't need another right back at that time, but he still brought him here. Sam is poor quality, and those wages could have paid for a much better player.

Giving mediocre players contract extensions. Brill,Clay,Dayton,Sam Ling, I'm sure there's more I can't think of. Now we're stuck with these players till June 2021, and can't bring in many new players because of it.

He pressed for the appointment of Ross to be manager, even though he isn't cut out for it.... Again another really terrible decision.

I'm sure there's more, but that's enough. Ling's poor decisions have cost the owners hundreds of thousands of pounds, plus screwed the team up.

Ok Prestige, name some excellent decisions Ling has made!

Why dont you give Ross a fair crack at the job before you declare him 'not up to it'?

Pretty sure the goal against Halifax in 2018 was the only one that made a points difference

Top Wumming but the signing of those two players was very poor and cannot be defended.

I notice you didn't comment on the Lingeltons love child, young master samling.

And yet we still won the league with those indefensible signings. Maybe its about more than ability? Alabis personality, attitude and enthusiasm has been mentioned plenty by those who know him.
