I think he likes living up north, I think really he is a League One player but doesn't have the application, appetite or consistency, it's why he plays in the National League and maybe League Two. He is one of them bizarre players if you get him happy/right frame of mood he is great otherwise he will go through the motions.

Only 6 in 28 in a poor team this season. He's a strange sort of player who won't fit into a lot of teams. Not really a goal poacher and has a hell of a shot on him.

Oldham it is then!!!!
I agree . If it's between us and Oldham he'll go to Oldham . I can't see him leaving his local area when Oldham can also offer him League Two football . After saying what I did it will be interesting to see how he get's on there .

Good player as is croasdale but it’s not a free transfer so can’t see us getting him .

He is the sort of signing we should be making if we have ambition.

Not at all. He is strong and skilful and just what we need, especially with Angol not proving himself as an out and out striker and Wilkinson perpetually injured.

We’ve had big immobile lumps before and it didn’t work out. He seems like another Sam Parkin to me. I proven striker in the lower leagues but sh*t higher up

He is not strong and skilful when he goes missing in games as he frequently does. He is a luxury we can ill afford to carry around with us at the moment.

We need players proven at League 2 level at least, he has never proved himself above the National League.

A luxury player who consistently scores 20 goals a season. I'll have two of those please.

Can’t imagine Rowe would want to leave the North West where he’s played all his previous football so Oldham would be a logical destination. I’ve got to say though when I saw him I thought he was a very talented player with some good touches and an excellent shot. I don’t think he would have a problem stepping up a Division at all.

I wouldn’t call 7 goals in 75 league appearances is proving yourself at league level
