Sitton still rising to it on Twitter, painting himself like he was some sort of Orient saviour
I follow him on Twitter for the comedy value alone, he just comes across incredibly insecure, feel a bit sorry for him really

I am mystified by the deification of Sitton as a player. I watched him home and away for a few years and found him to be inept, boneheaded and no way the type of ‘die with my shirt on’ player he is now being portrayed as.
In one particularly memorable performance I witnessed him execute one of the most brutal tackles I have ever witnessed (away at Torquay) for absolutely no reason - a career ending piece of violence.
Why anyone listens to him nowadays is beyond me

Contributory Fred, I think your memory is playing tricks on you. Sitton was a wholehearted player who gave everything and I wish we had a few more like him in our side now instead of the lightweight powder puffs.

No RedCard, I remember it clearly. The guy was a bonehead with the finesse of an all-in wrestler.
Torquay 2 Orient 2, November 2nd 1985 attendance 1142, including me.
Sitton almost cost us the game with his sickening brutality that day.
Terry Howard was the real class act in our back 4 at that time, Sitton was just a bit-part oaf

John describes himself entirely different. I presumed he had played consistently in the old 1st division....i was wrong, just an average clogger.

Just like to ask how many of you orient fans have read John Sittons Twitter feed? Ive never read such self obsessed, deluded rubbish in all my life. A little research reveals he has one of the worst managerial records of all time!
Bitter as hell and even written a book. Nothing in it beyond 1995 id imagine. Most people that dont support orient would never have heard of him yet john compared himself better than steve Bruce yesterday!
Hes a Taxi driver now according to hisTwitter.....and not a fan of UBER. Feel for his wife!
£750k views (to the Terry Howard sacking one) - a lot of non-O's people know John, I was at that particular game.
Embarrassing
No wonder he didn’t get another chance in Football again and fact is he was only co/assistant Manager twice round
Completely f*cked up his Andy Warhol moment
And I for one am happy he did
Total f*** wit of a man
I am sure he thinks highly of you too Monde, as someone whose achievement in life is putting together some tat and euphemistically calling it a ‘museum’.

Sitton reminded me of a poor mans Neil Ruddock
Could be brilliant on his day
Could have been arrested for thuggery on others

Exactly what we need now Tiff.
Nope
Thuggery is not required
Dean Smith type
Who would dish out justified retribution
Now thats a quality id admire

In your case, better to stick to second-rate, bad taste museums which show no respect for victims.

Derogatory comments regarding Ross now. A pity Sitts has not reviewed his own management Stats.

Now, now. Lucky has told us he isn't Mondeoman. Why would he tell porkies about this (apart from the permaban he'd get of course)?

As side,
A. I'm glad Chris Turner ended up having a decent managerial career
B. Joint managerial ventures seldom work
