I would be happy if he came to us. He had a fantastic record at the Fleet - great win ratio and play-offs / promotion
Its possible that Steve Grit could go to Daggers and we get DM. He also played for us and is local
Having said all the above - Ling won't go for him and he will go to Daggers - and another opportunity will be missed1

Justin Edinburgh’s stats weren’t that good before he joined Orient sacked by Northampton sacked by Gillingham you do talk tosh the majority of the time Thor
Edinburgh did overall have a higher win rate, that's what the panel looked for at the time. Porter said as much in one of the podcasts.
24% win rate at The Cobblers you call that decent?
I think they looked at it overall from what I remember of that interview. Also a proven winner at the level we needed to gain promotion from.

Going by the Lawrence Vigouroux interview, neither Ross or Ling are going anywhere too soon. Apparently those two were the main reason why he signed for us . Look, football fans are a fickle bunch and we're no different from everybody else. Start getting positive results on the pitch and it's all rosey in the garden and everybody's happy. Short memory's , etc, etc. That's why it's time to buy our way out of this current shambles.

Tisdale is who we need let’s please show some ambition to employ the right man

The 47% included the had run. Shows you how well he had them playing in this division.

Sort of think achieving automatic promotion from L2 was a half decent achievement.

Needed a 1-0 Win against the might of promotion rivals Mansfield to go up.
MK Dons with 1 of the larger Bank roles in the lower echelons of the football league.
Hardly glowing stats.

Well if he got a club with a top three budget promoted, I'd happily let him take our top 7 budget and get us into the top 7.

Daryls win % at Ebbsfleet almost identical to Justin, and did he ever lose to us?
Obviously crap at Macclesfied, a club with big off field problems
What 54% and no one wanted him other than a basket case club like Macclesfield?

So lets forget about his time at Exeter - 2 consecutive promotions, 1pt off L1 playoffs plus 2xplayoff slots prior to managing the Franchise. I'm not planning to apply for the Orient job, you seem to be thinking about it Tuffs

In the circumstances kinda glad we've swerved this. Could get messy with legal challenges from Macclesfield as his resignation looks a lot like tapping up by Dagenham.
