Terry (Henry) Mancini. It was him that made Tommy Taylor look good so good at 15 years of age..

Missed out on seeing Glenn Roeder 1st time around and, as others have said, Lockwood is an absolute stand out. Just for something different, can I offer you Paul Beesley. Class act.

We also made good money on him as well when we sold him.

In the days when football was not fluid like today , when centre halves man to man marked centre forwards sid bishop was a giant. In our promotion year to the top flight it was over 20 games before an opposing centre forward scored against us.
If he had taken the many offers from top flight clubs for him he would have been an England international.
Stan charlton , who later went to the Arsenal was in my view the best full back ever seen at the orient , a ferocious tackler who would burst forward with the ball.
Tommy Taylor, Paul went, glen roeder, and Phil hoadley were very good central defenders but Sid bishop was different class, and likewise Dennis Rolfe, Bobby Fisher , and bill rofffe while very good full backs couldn’t compare Stan charlton.
Sadly we will never see the likes of these players at orient again.

Colin Foster.

Remember meeting him as a kid outside some away ground when he wasn't playing and being amazed at the sheer size of the man.
