Fair enough. If it’s on the net it must be true.

Personally I don’t give a toss whether it is or not. It’s just cheap to post this sort of stuff for some sort of gratification. Adds a little excitement to boring lives.

I love how being a season ticket holder somehow means that a person is privy to all goings on behind closed doors at a club, including who was trying it on at the Christmas do

Find a mate who is a season ticket holder. They are a great source of club gossip. You can learn all sorts of things over a pint in the pub. Then you too can do the “my mate the ST holder told me” stuff.

Sure they do. Things leak into our net too at an alarming rate.

But on a serious note, gossip happen everywhere, some may even be accurate. But what’s difficult to convey is the context of the tidbits. That can change the meaning a whole lot. I’m usually very cautious with the “my mate said” stuff. Like most good stories they get better each time they are told.
