Has anyone been contacted about the Managers job to replace CF and if not why not !

Can you confirm that the next Manager will be a proven, experienced Manager at League 2 level ?

Let the man be judged on his own merits.
Problem is it's people's own dads doing the judging.

On the Q&A Travis noted the size of the roll call of staff employed on the Academy side. Given that must form a sizeable chunk of the Β£4 million budget also mentioned a couple of questions...

- how much does it cost to run the Academy per year?
- is it true that the Koroma transfer money is solely going into the academy and not the transfer budget?
- does the Academy made a net profit? Seems we only got (unknown) money for Dalby, Alzate and Koroma whilst many more have gone for seemingly no financial benefit to the club.
- if the proposed FIFA rules around fixed compensation come into force would the club continue to run the Academy given big fees for youth players would be a thing of the past and we'd at that point be subsiding the cost of development for Championship / Prem sides

moonwalk19 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 12:22 am Does the panel think that the players and staff did not give CF the respect he deserved. Was there a time period in his contract when either side could terminate the contract.

And if not, why are probationary periods not used in football? (excludes players of course)

UpminsterO if you hear swearing in the family stand pull the people concerned. Don't let them get away with it. I don't want my children hearing it either.

Why did we farm out Ruel when we are crying out for viable forwards?

When will Ling and co. actually take seriously our dearth of CMs?

Seems pretty obvious to me, the managers association would be against it and nobody would sign such deals.

Manager like Fletcher would likely have to move, maybe with his family to come here. Do tenancies on houses last for three months? Only if you pay stupid money.

If he's committing to us for 1.5 years, why can't a club commit to him? If they were that unsure about him, just offer him a deal to the end of the season. They were adamant he was the standout choice, but they want to try before they buy? Insisting on such an approach would mean good managers would simply refuse to join us, doing more harm than good.

Obviously there will be circumstances where it don't work out, but short of gross misconduct the manager should be compensated if the contract needs to be broken.

Don’t feel bad about it Andy - I find that with the majority of his posts.

Google Translate doesn’t help either.

Why do you even have to ask that? The answer is obvious. No Gilso.
