Do the board read this forum........do they know the fans are pretty much unified, in our dislike of Fletcher? (Professional not personal dislike)
I'm sure they trust their own decision making enough not to have to look on here. You may well be right on this one, but you can't claim to have any great insight- you were a dissenting voice last season when we won the title. If they listened to you then we'd probably still be down there.

I wouldn’t call it (professional) dislike. It’s more accurately serious and widespread concerns across the fanbase on social media that he just isn’t up to the job, with little obvious signs of any skills displayed so far that would have made him the first choice to “tick all the boxes” for the gig. The twitter mob are as equally scathing. MungO’s board not much better. Not sure what the facebook factions are thinking.
Probably split pretty evenly between fire him now, and give him a bit more time. I’m in the latter camp.
There are a number of individuals on the Facebook sites who are really slating Fletch but they would probably be viewed as professional moaners. However, I believe there is much concern. The majority want to give him a bit more time but I sense their patience will run out if this carries on to December. I agree that he should be given more time but I honestly think 3 or 4 more games with bad displays will mean the end for him.
So Saturday's game has become a big one. If we lose to a team who have not won away all season there will be a great deal of discontent.

If we lose on Saturday I expect their to be chanting for Fletcher Out and a massive amount of animosity towards Fletcher and the owners if he is not sacked immediately after the match.
To lose again on Saturday will see a big drop in attendances until Fletcher is sacked and replaced with a proven , experienced Manager at this level with no selection criteria that bars any prospective candidate of choosing his own back room staff.Whilst I appreciate there are some who don't want to see Ross Embleton replaced as the number 2, no man is bigger than our club or our future success.

I do wonder why there are no previews... checking our Youtube channel this indeed was something other managers did regularly.
Perhaps Felcher feels let down by the club in this respect and refused, made a few stupid comments previous but they were not edited out. The Tiptree interview was 1 min and bit, so quite a lot was edited out in that. Possible that he might have tried to publicise the rumours and say something non-cliched but the club would lose face so didn't show it.
Saturday is important. There is no excuse for a huge reaction from the players over the humiliation and of course using Flogic, Scunny would have travelled miles and will be tired. Another limp display and I reckon the vote of confidence will be given by Travis.

I totally agree . There will be a lot of people switching form " Give him more time " camp to the "Fire him now" camp . Why the hell couldn't we have done the simple thing and brought in an experienced manager . For Gawd sake somebody give Russell a call .

Looking at eagwgw post now I bet he is close to the point in his post concerning the interview. It was clearly edited down massively and I now wonder if he has blasted out the players, club and fans in it?
That would kind of tie in with the club being in talks with him since then to pay up, settle his contract and get an NDA signed? This seems realistic to me now.
