If it was say +10, still mathematically possible but highly unlikely, we could be a bit more relaxed.
I also agree that this group of players is less 'Orienty' so here's hoping!
Yeah but del, your predictions have been well ropey...till recently. :)
 fair point, well made!

I am at Whipps Cross tomorrow morning. If the prognosis is negative, there could be a spare...

... must admit radiographer made me think a lot last week after my chest x-ray when she said she hopes I am better as I left. Wouldn’t mind but it was merely my doctor sending me for a check on a persistent cough. Still hopefully the ENT department don’t say similar tomorrow...
Why would ENT be doing a chest xray ?

Thats the Chest Clinics speciality .

Either way hope you get sorted .

It’s in the nature of a big shot to feel this way. Just accept it as an occupational hazard.

Exactly this and the fact that i was so convinced will mean that if we do f*** it up, it will be even worse. I think if we don't finish as champs it will be a worse feeling than Rotherham and we will be mentally shot for the playoffs.

Lets hope it doesn't come to that and we score a couple early so we can enjoy the day.

Can see now, 2 mins in, Braintree getting a glorious chance and missing it and everyone looking at each other in disbelief.
Or even worse, they score it.

And yeah, without a doubt, no way we’d go up through the play offs after being in this position. I don’t want to go all spenny and claim there has never been a team in such a glorious position but if there has been, I’m not aware of it. This would be the f*** up of all f*** ups.

Just want it over with now, I’m done with the ups and downs these last few weeks.

As a Big Shot, it’s absolutely not in my nature. I quite rightly have total confidence in my own abilities and never experience this doubt.

That comes with supporting this club for more years than we care to mention. We've seen similar things before with Orient and that's why I feel nervous . Wembley 2014 comes straight to mind , 2-0 up at half time and we blow it
Being 2-0 up in a game then losing (or even drawing in the 90 mins) is nowhere near the same as being 3 points clear with superior goal difference and playing the final game against an already relegated team.

I'm sorry, but it just isn't.
I know but what I meant was Orient being on the verge of achieving something then cocking things up.

Absolutely.
A draw will be enough to win the title and that's well within the abilities of this squad of players. I'm confident that we'll beat Braintree and by 5 o/c on Saturday we'll all be wondering what we were so worried about.

I am confident, pleased I got tickets for Saturday, albeit in the East Stand not the West as usual, but am reminded that I was in the East Stand when we beat Wrexham in the Play Off final some years back, so hope it's a good omen.

Won't be celebrating until we are up, but fully expect to be celebrating. Norwich fans up here in Norfolk are in a very similar position, just want it over now and everyone can relax and look forward.

Chest x ray last week, ENT today. Haven't been to the doctors for a while, so they sent me for precautionary blood test, x ray and now head examination :-O

We have so many pants sh*tters that if the score is level after more than 25 minutes the atmosphere around the ground will become incredibly uneasy. Just hope it doesn't transfer to the team.

Quite honestly I have zero worries about this. Maybe if Salford went three up and Os were a goal down then I might, but unless that happens, I am just going to enjoy the day. The worst that could happen is Os are in play offs and get another chance. But the chances of that are about 1 in 100 or more. I suspect players will be immune to it.

It would be the same at any ground. Just have to hope that uneasiness doesn't transfer to the players.

We definitely need to go out all guns blazing from the off for this one.

Braintree are 7/1 to win and Salford are 4/9

Good idea...I like it.Tempted to go Braintree Town 12/1 to win.

Sorted.£50 on Braintree to win. Then again if Salford don't win it's pretty irrelevant.

As I can't go and am working anyway.

I would be more nervous if we didn't have Coulson, Macnuff and Turley in our side. They wont let it slip.

A double of 7/1 on Braintree and then 50/1 (I think it was last) on Salford to win the National League would also pay off nicely if you felt we were likely to blow it and we did.

But we won't.
