Lauge 3 versus premier league .
Its a sh*tty 1st round cup tie.

The comedy gold comes from watching the meltdowns by various posters
The never returning to Brisbane Road-ers
The worst result in clubs history-ers
The club is more toxic than under Bechetti-ers
The lack of investment-ers ( ignoring the fact club spends far more than it receives in income)
The insult to Justin's memory-ers
Thanks everyone for the meltdowns. You have brought a smile to my face.
As the sun rises tomorrow and Leyton Orient continues to exist, I will recall your meltdowns and laugh at your overreaction today
I am not concerned at all.
Whether Orient win the European Champions Cup or get relegated to Hackney Marshes Sunday Afternoon League 6th Division does not pay my bill's, improve the health of myself or my loved ones.
Watching Orient is a relaxation & not something I will stress or get concerned about

Whilst I get your point, you are missing what the fans are saying. No one wants to go back down to the NL, the football on offer is turgid, the man has not built any bridges with the fans. His communication is appalling, the players are not motivated, the tactics inept, the patterns of play poor. It all leads back to Fletch, rumours of busts ups with players and coaches do not sit well if true of course after just 4 games then. Yes bust ups happen all the time, but so quickly after joining us?tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2019 12:13 amNo fred Fletcher is a Class A Fool.ContrifibulatoryFred wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2019 11:56 pm Yeah but that Fletcher bloke is a numpty, right?

It’s clearly not the same gap as us against Fulham, as huge a gap as that was. It’s even bigger than that, that’s just how big it is.tuffers#1 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 11, 2019 12:12 amIs it ?RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 10, 2019 11:55 pmHarsh. And Fulham didn’t put out their strongest side that day either.
Play it down all you like but that was a disgraceful performance and result, and rightly being recognised as the worst in the clubs 138 year history.

Re: Fantastic Entertainment
Still the toys go out of the pram on here, on FB and elsewhere on social media.
Folks it's not doing yourselves any good getting so worked up about a game.
At 11am this morning we stopped and remembered those who gave their today's for our tomorrow's.
That is life and death.
Football is a game and this year instead of being a giant killer, Orient were the giant that was killed.
It happens every year. Get over it.
The sun rose this morning, Orient still exists (albeit out of a cup competition that incidentally many of you were demanding Orient get knocked out of last year!
Stop stressing and always look on the bright side of life

Strange how you twist words.
At mo point gave I ever said someone should not Express their opinion .
I am all for people having the right to Express an opinion
Clearly somethings are above the comprehension of those who are getting over stressed about irrelevant things that they cannot control & that do not matter in life.
Stop the stressing. It's not good for you.
Orient lost. So what there are giant killings every year in the FA Cup. I
This means that giants must be killed and this year Orient were the relative giant that was slated.
The club still exists. Life goes on, nothing to stress sbout

Re: Fantastic Entertainment
It's possible to recognise that there are more important things in life than Leyton Orient Football Club, but also be angry about a poor result against a team we should never be leaving to. The two are not mutually exclusive.
It's also possible to express concern and have an opinion on the club and to be a supporter of the club too.
I've backed the club more than most over the last 3 years, but I am seething at the result and performance of yesterday and I am becoming concerned about the direction that we are heading in at this moment.

Re: Fantastic Entertainment
On a rational level you are quite right, Spenny. But many fans are irrationally emotionally invested in their Club’s fortunes, and maybe a teeny bit of empathy here wouldn’t go amiss.
Having said that, my sadistic side rather enjoys watching supporters (all clubs) go completely OTT with the meltdowns after a setback for their stupid sports team

Re: Fantastic Entertainment
Is it irrational to be emotionally invested in one's team? It seems a very human thing to me that has been going on, well, for as long as there have been teams.
No-one denies there's more important things in life than Leyton Orient, but people ARE invested in this and should be allowed to vent in a harmless way on a message board when the need arises. It doesn't hurt anyone and I think to mock it or find it entertaining tells us more about you than those who are understandably upset about a truly terrible result.

Putting Danny Macklins twitter or email on social media so
they can moan & cry at him ?
Now that is Stupid
Collective booing shows a manager & a team fans are not happy there & then.

Re: Fantastic Entertainment
We all need to accept that for some, watching Orient is a bit of light entertainment and the result itself don’t really matter, what matters is a day out and a few goals. Plus a couple of beers with mates. Fine.
For others, and I include myself in this category, there is an emotional attachment to the club, winning is a joy, losing a sadness. We all know there are more important things in life but that doesn’t lessen that emotional attachment. It’s there, probably always will be. It matters.
I feel sorry for those people who don’t have that attachment. They miss out on the absolute ecstasy of promotion but I guess don’t feel the pain of games like Saturday.
People are different and those who make some of the comments I have read just don’t understand what supporting a club really is.
