I equally had no confidence that the club would bring in a quality proven Manager at this level and again have proven right.
For the above reasons and many more I did not renew my season ticket, instead decided to wait and see how the season progressed with the intention of paying on the day depending on results. As you may have guessed I have not been to a single match this season and will not until the fans have been rewarded for their loyalty and Justin’s memory is honoured by an a proven Manager at this level, with no restrictions on any incoming manager being able to pick his own number two.
Nobody at our club is greater than the club itself, that includes of course Ling Snr and Carl Fletcher.
Watch the attendances plummet following today’s disgraceful result.

TBF hillO, Wilkinson and Angol are decent replacements for Bonne and Koroma . Our problem has been they've been either out suspended or Injured.
Here's the but... they're not enough on their own and certainly not a partnership.

Last season we only got through on the basis Bonne and Koroma played 95% of the season and scored practically all the goals themselves. Once Koroma got injured our goals dried up and exposed lack of quality in the squad.

Cue summer, both are sold as they want to further their careers, fair enough. Alabi was deemed not good enough and transfer listed.

End result, we start the season only bringing in 2 with 3 released (Simpson). Alabi somehow worms his way back in. We then wonder why we have striker problems once inevitable injuries and suspensions kick in.

Now I'm reading in the other thread the bulk of the transfer money won't go into the squad but the academy instead, where we now don't get benefit of the players nor a decent transfer fee. The mind boggles.

I agree totally, for once you’ve hit the nail on the head.

Let’s be honest the leadership in the club stemmed from one man and one man only. Justin and May his soul rest in peace.

Justin was his own man and we respected him more for it.

Alabi was taken off the list as Ling don’t want to admit he got it wrong. Justin wanted him out, that tells you everything you need to know.
