I can’t understand Families laying out over £500 and then hardly showing up.
Why the hell would they do that??
If my children were ten years younger (i.e Under 11), I would probably get three seats even if they only turned up for 3 or 4 games in a season. The rationale is it would be cheaper than child care. Took my daughter to a few game when she was young and as long as the weather was OK and she had plenty of popcorn she was happy enough.

I have vision of kids acting like Members of the House of Lords....signing in at turnstile to get their £5 then immediately leaving the ground
Lock the gates. Keep the little blighters in. If Orient want to increase the fan base, something radical has to be done.

Re the Members of the House of Lords, I agree
in fact install a one way door only and never let them leave
As for Orient....you can't prevent someone leaving the ground in those circumstances, it would be false imprisonment.
Not sure when anything radical has ot be done. The club have got the money for the ticket, so it matters not to them. Indeed if people don't show up, it could actually save money as they may be able to use less stewards etc

If someone has put the effort in to buy a ticket for the wee cherubs, then they have to stay and watch. False imprisonment? Pah!
Whenever I brought a young un my expenditure was significantly increased. Hot dogs, popcorn, drinks etc. My cousin thought he got a bargain £15 trip to the FA Trophy Final back in May for him and his two sons, but spent over £100 on food, drink and souvenirs.
